Alright, will do. Clocks and The Scientist were off A Rush of Blood, right? I like those ones too, and the only thing I remember from Parachutes was that Yellow song. But in general I'm reallyreallyreally liking Coldplay.
Clocks and The Scientist were both off AROBTTH, and the title track is really good too. I'm digging Wilco, The Doors, and Ryan Adams today. Edit - I was looking at my neighbor's list on last.fm, and I found someone who practically has the exact taste in music as me - http://www.last.fm/user/dim_the_droog/ |

Nice avatar, btw :thumb: If you like them, you'll probably like Really Red too. |

If you like them, you'll probably like Really Red too.
I'll check them out. |
Today I bought
The Make Up - I Want Some and Prince Paul - A Prince Among Thieves I haven't listened to the whole of either, but right now I want to give them a pat on the bum if they were really attractive girls. I also listened to Dane Cook - Retaliation *super immature mode* |
Sun Ra - Space is the Place
Possibly the most overated swing/jazz album of all time. The 21 minute title track blows me away every single time that I hear it. |
Hot Cross - Fair Trades And Farewells
Hot Cross - Cryonics Hot Cross - A New Set Of Lungs |
The Holy Modal Rounders - The Moray Eels Eat The Holy Modal Rounders
Different than they're earlier stuff, but still enjoyable. The Bird Song is pretty awsome. |
Johnny Cash - With His Hot and Blue Guitar
Patti Smith - Horses |
I've been listening to both Kayo Dot albums and New Order's Substance that I bought yesterday. Substance is damn good, do I need anything else from New Order?
Hot Cross - Fair Trades And Farewells Hot Cross - Cryonics Hot Cross - A New Set Of Lungs
Are you bored yet? |
I got bored halfway through A New Set Of Lungs
That one's not as good as the others |

Magazine the Slits - Return of the Giant Slits Sonic Youth - Sister A sweet 60's female pop mix featuring Maxine Darren (!!!!!!!!!!) Yes - Fragile Heart of the Sunrise is by far the coolest Yes song EVER. |
I got bored halfway through A New Set Of Lungs
That one's not as good as the others
I get bored halfway through Cryonics. Hot Cross are cool for a while but then I get really bored. I like City of Caterpillar, Off Minor, CTTS, Love Like...Electrocution, Saetia, pg. 99 and Trohpy Scars (if they count) better. |
In Orbs Dighouse:
Spoon - Gimme Fiction Just a wonderful album, just very enjoyable without being overly mindblowing. The songs are catchy to the extent that instead of having them individually in your head, you find yourself replaying the entire album in your head after listening to it. Air - Talkie Walkie Perfect livingroom music. This album is just fun to listen to. The music is so creative in it's simplicity, yet it's extremely accessible to the casual ear. Annie - Anniemal Cheap-*** Norwegian bubblegum pop. Badly pronounced english sung by this cute girly voice. I like this! But it reminds me I'm such a tool. My best excuse: the music chose me, not the other way around.\ Catchy music is my thing today. |
Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde
Bob Dylan - No Direction Home Ted Leo - Tell Balgeary, Balgury is dead More Pogues The Decemberists - Picaresque |
Mercury Rev - The Dark Is Rising
|
Today I'm rocking out to
Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music For Airports Kraftwerk - Autobahn ZZ Top - Tres Hombres
I took a break from listening to the same three Guns N' Roses songs to listen to the new Butch Walker song about 20 times. Now I'm listening to the Prodigy.
Good to see you're getting variety in your musical diet. |
Brian Eno makes me zZzZzZz
Brian Eno makes me zZzZzZz
It's bad if I were to put it on and try and study or something.

Good going, man. get Atomizer by Big Black too, it's better than SAF. |
Is that the new one?
Yeah. I see you have Here Come the Lies, so you should probably get the new one. It's really great. EDIT: Wait Long by the River... is 'the new one' that came out in 2005, not 'the new one' that's coming out this year. |
Just a couple songs today, both very
Morphine- Honey White Television- Venus Here is how to play the main riff of Honey White, as I have attempted to figure out: G------------------------------------------------ D------------------------------------------------ A-0-2-0-3-2-0-2-0-3-2-0---0-2-0-3-2-0---------- E-----------------------------------------3333-1- |
Big Black + Butthole Surfers
Same here, I've been listening to Rich Man's Eight Track Tape and thanks to Paul150, Locust Abortion Technition should be coming in the mail. |
Mission of Burma - Vs.
Mission of Burma - ONoffON These guys are fantastic. I really need to get Signals, Calls, and Marches sometime soon. |
Once again, I am digging Dust Bowl Ballads by the one and only Woody Guthrie. If any of you like Bob Dylan, definitely check out Woody Guthrie.
