So I can get to stompin in my air force ones
|
Poor sleeping patterns really suck. I would stay up all night during summer and then sleep in all day since i was a stuck at home, broke and unambitious to contribute anything to society. Getting back into a regular sleeping schedule for school was hellllll.
|
I've never really had sleeping problems. There are times when I'll have a week or so where it's hard to fall asleep, but most of the time I'm lucky enough to just hop in bed and pass the **** out.

Is The Virgin Suicides worth watching?

Big boy. |
Any of you guys work with AutoCAD LT?
|
my dad does
|
Are you around him right now?
If so you could ask him if he has had a problem with receiving a fatal error when he tries to go into the layer properties manager. |

I don't know what LT is, but I've had 8 classes using AutoCAD. And I've never had that problem. |

I've been using AutoCAD for close to 7 years now, and this is the first time it ever happened to me. LT is the $500 as opposed to the $3,000 version. Basically LT has all the ridiculousness cut out and just the stuff that most people use. Like there is no 3D modeling on it. |
Ahh...I have that version. Mine works just fine...so far, that is.
We've got the same experience with ACAD. h5 :p |

I'm studying to become a civil engineer, so it will be a part of my job. I really love using ACAD. I could sit and use it forever.
|
Me too, although I am studying to be an Architect.
I work for an Architect. I can surf the web, listen to music, and draw while receiving 3 credit hours and being paid. |
That's awesome. I want to work with you.
|
Pate you build a bridge and I will shoot a film on it, deal?
|
That's awesome. I want to work with you.
We could jam out to metal and create stuff. |
It would be epic and metal and epic metal engineering architecture. \m/
Pate you build a bridge and I will shoot a film on it, deal?
I'm in. How big are we talking? |
I'm in CAD, working with Rhino
My dad teaches the class =/ |
AES was sweet. All the stuff there I had no idea what it was (figures), but we watched this special presentation on Geoff forgot his last name, the guy who engineered Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
They showed clips from that BBC special about the 40th anniversary of the album and all the bands that wanted to rerecord covers of the songs, and how they could barely do it cause they had to record on 4 track instead of ProTools. Best part was when Geoff took questions, this British guy came up and said, "Were you the one who had the Kaiser Chiefs do this? Cause they were bloody HORRIBLE." That was actually seriously cool. |
hm?

AES = Audio Engineering Society. Their 123rd convention was held at the Javits Center and goes until Sunday. My dad played a gig there and since he knows the chairman, we scored free VIP passes, which would normally cost about 400 bucks.
It's all detailed in an earlier post of mine. Elim: Yeah, but the fact that they recorded part of it live threw the Kaiser Chiefs for a loop. |
