Although Vietnam being a US loss is kinda debatable. It was a shitty, botched quagmire but technically Saigon didn't fall until after we pulled our troops out and probably wouldn't have if we had stayed.

lmao you mean the vietnam that the allied powers after war world 2 agreed belonged to the french and britain occupied south vietnam, giving weapons to the developing french forces while china was occupying north vietnam, all complicit parties developing the two competing regions?

I dunno man, 2 decades of failure culminating in being kicked out of Indochina, with Cambodia and Laos subsequently coming under communist rule, while outnumbering and outgunning your enemy significantly sounds like a pretty definitive loss to me.
