*neighbours I've bolded the ones I'll watch, if I'm around when they are on. It's mostly just South Park, while I'm toking on a joint at one in the morning. :smoke: |
NP: SR-71 - "Right Now"

Oh yeah, i always watch late night 24 on Fridays now.
And Johnathon Ross normally... |
Big Brother is the lowest form of televisual entertainment. It's so mindless and awful that I can't even bear people talking about it.
I have seen about 10 seconds of it this year, which was 10 seconds too much.
Laguna Beach > Big Brother Laguna Beach is a "show" about rich kids in California living their lives. It's literally as if someone just gave a bunch of cameras to a bunch of depressed normal kids and expected something fun to happen Also, there was the tragedy that was The Salon. My mum watched that all the time. "Oh, let's put cameras and whacky characters in a salon and watch it unravel!" I'd rather watch turd dry then watch reality TV |
I cant even see what its like, on my screen its just a box with an x through it.

How much would you guys be interested in a home made pseudo-skate video (pseudo in that it's freerunning, not skating) starring my good self and some mates? I'm about to put it on YSI and I'd love it if you'd all check it out.
|
I think that would be pretty cool/amusing.

Well, it's not done well, it's kindof the point. It's meant as a bit of a piss-take really, but a few bits are cool. /uploads |

Yes. |
We took the piss out of free-running the other day while some serious ones were doing it, it was so funny, i was actually ok at it...
Who's that?
/me is ignorant NP: DEP - The Perfect Design
How is it that no one in a pop-oriented forum knows who SR-71 is? They produced way more pop than they did metal. Give these two songs a listen: Right Now (Pop) Tomorrow (teh rock) |
MY favorite song by them is Politcally Correct, its the only song by them I have heard though.
|
Hah...SR-71....my dad likes them.
|
Finch uses the exact same intro riff to "Ink" in the bridge of "Brother Bleed Brother."

NP: Fall Out Boy - Yule Shoot Your Eye Out
Christmas + Tongue-in-cheek lyrics + Patrick's hot voice = :D |
Why, Daniel?
well, my ankles are so weak and poor, that i don't think they can cope anym ore. Because of this, all my friends have been improving much more than me and it gets realy depressing. My right ankle is badly hurt now, after spraining it, and previously my left ankle kept twisting and spraining because of skating... Nice video James ! |
Finch uses the exact same intro riff to "Ink" in the bridge of "Brother Bleed Brother."
/slow clap I noticed that a while ago too. Also, I'm sure one part of "The Casket Of Roderic Usher" uses the exact same chords as "Project Mayhem" |
I stopped skating last year. Just couldn't find time to do it.
Nice video James !
Not sure if nice is the word... It's pretty grainy, and we all are so bad that it's better to laugh at really. My favourite bit is my 'bollard-running' trick. It's a lot harder than it looks... Either that or the fact that the first thing you see is me having a pint. |
"open the past and present now and we are there..."
I love that song. :D I have no idea what everyone is talking about, you're all such blokes... |
I love the bit at the begining of the video :thumb:

Its alright for us, we have a park directly over the road from school. It has some cool walls to stall on, and a perfect street skate serface. We have lots of frees too so were always skating now, much fun. Today, we was pop-shuv iting onto a nose stall on a wall. Seeing who can do the longest manual, and lots of other stuff. each day, we practice to fall too. ha ha. |
That video was pretty sweet actually

Lines like that make me laugh because they're not actually deep or thoughtful at all, but as long as their pushed through screaming vocals it's considered brilliance. Kind of like Hawthorne Heights and the whole, "Cut my wrists and black my eyes line". Total thoughtless wankery, but for some reason that's the one line you always hear everyone quoting. |

I'll need to check the PM chords thing out. I was thinking "TCORU is definitely SHTS' PM" when listening last night. (Sorry for all the abbreviations, typing with one hand sucks) |
I'm like a gerbil in a snake pit now.

Why only one hand? |
I used to be able to Kickflip, double, heelflip, pop shove it, Fakie kicks and heels. Backside flips, 360 flip, frontside flip (sometimes), Fakie backsideflip and fakie backside heel. 50-50, boardslide etc..
I could kickflip down quite big gaps. I used to be the kickflip master before i fucked up my ankle... |
