No dude, Floyd's the best music in the car...anyone can cut you off, be slow, and whatnot, and you just....won't...care. It's like, "yeah, whatever, I'll get there sooner or later"...plus it always makes me spacey, like DSOM.

Hmm, for driving songs, I'd have said Stairway To The Stars, by Blue Oyster Cult.
Which, funnily enough, is probably where the La Grange riff was derived from. |
I always liked the Immigrant Song in the car. Then there's always Bad Moon Rising, All Along the Watchtower and Fire, Life in the Fastlane, LA Woman, and stuff that's fast and loud. I'm sick of Rock and Roll though. I don't listen to that anymore.

For the car: Highway Star. If your going really fast.
You can only play Rock And Roll if you have a Cadillac. |
Bohemian Rhapsody and any Doors or ZZ Top songs are great to drive to.
|
Alriiiight. Now wasn't that fun? Thanks for the songs =p Now...I've just got to wait until I get my G2. Got my G1 now =p
Eat A Peach alright got it. I don't like Live Albums. So anything else?
Before you say you don't like Live Albums, let me make you aware that this is one of the best live albums in history. That is an opinion shared by many. But if you won't get live at the Fillmore, then their Self-titled is pretty good. |
Everyone start learnin' about The Dead and The Allmans, we need to debate um.
|
Eat A Peach alright got it. I don't like Live Albums. So anything else?
IMO, not really. They have a few live albums. Filmore East really is there best album though, and is the best live album ever made overall. If you just want a good sampling, get the Best of cd. |
Stand Back and Blue Sky = Best of Eat a Peach
Those are great. My favorites are Ain't Wastin' Time No More and Les Brers in A Minor. |

I have Live Alive by SRV and it's great it really is but I don't know the cheering kinda makes me stay awake. Yeah I listen to CD's when I'm not going to sleep but again the cheering. I'll listen to Filmore East at the store and I'll buy it if it's hella good. |
I like the Bob Dylan version better.
Yea! "China Cat Sunflower", "The Golden Road", "Doin' that Rag", "Mountains of The Moon", "Dark Star", "St. Stephen", "Beat it Down the Line" (to an extent). *doesn't care for Anthem of the Sun as of now, nor does feel like naming tracks of it* |
Tales of Brave Ulysses is awsome is all Cream like this because all the Cream Ive listined to sux but all Ive herd is the ones on Cream of Clapton (like 4 songs)
So you're gonna judge a band by 4 songs...tsk,tsk,tsk. |
Hey man I liked Born Cross Eyed. Also I bought Aoxomoxoa...Me Liked :)
Yea, it'sw got swome good tracks. Though, I do prefer a few of them live. |
Psycheldelic songs...hmm Grateful Dead has more trippy songs then they do Psychedelic, Golden Road To Unlimited Devotion probly takes the cake for that category though...the Doors probly have a lot more psycheldelic stuff.
Scarelt Begonias by the Dead is pretty psychedelic.. |
I have my R.E.M. tickets now :D. That's going to be amazorific.
