Apocalyptic Raids 10-11-2005 08:40 AM

hmm... I probably wouldn't come back from Schoolies early for Nile. I'm going to the sydney gig, which is the night before I leave for Schoolies luckily

Greg, which show?

dUSK 10-11-2005 08:42 AM

I'm seeing Cog, Karnivool and going to Lexmark Indy all in one weekend. It's going to be so expensive, but I can't think of a better way to celebrate end of lectures.

Also, while I'm here, which Kreator album should I start with?

Me neither, I don't think I would do it for most bands but then again they live and breathe Death Metal.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-11-2005 08:50 AM

Start with Coma of Souls, since it's the most accessible. Then move onto Pleasure to Kill, which is more extreme and better.

I'm off for tonight.

You probably clicked one of Plexi's threadspawning links the other day. Clicking them results in a 3 day ban.

Thanks for the Kreator recommendations guys, I've been getting more into Thrash lately. Kreator, Sodom, etc.

I clicked it and didn't get a ban.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-11-2005 06:46 PM

I think you only got banned if they saw the thread.

dUSK 10-11-2005 06:48 PM
I clicked it and didn't get a ban.
It depended on which mod closed the thread your spawned. BSLAT didn't ban, Ken did.

You clicked one of those links, which in turn I clicked, and was also banned for three days.

It's crap though, because only some of the people got banned.

Figures...

RCA 10-11-2005 08:41 PM

Oh come on, THE CROWN?!?!

Get the fuck out.

...What's wrong with The Crown? Especially that record. Deathrace King is a perfect mix of death and thrash.

Haha.

Jon, how many albums can I send?

Apocalyptic Raids 10-11-2005 09:02 PM

Just give me two or three links for one album of your choice.

Dave's been on this retarded ego trip for so long...

VeedBok 10-11-2005 09:32 PM

I got one of Razors newer albums Open Hostility, and its a great album what other Razor albums are also good?

Too bad he didn't disband, now that I think of it. As much as I want to see Megadeth live, there's a good chance he's just going to tarnish the name even more.

FatalEnergy 10-12-2005 01:07 AM

I think the new Megadeth album may be suprizing with the band Dave has now. I think it'll probably be more Youthanasia style rather than Rust In Peace though.

metal-militia 10-12-2005 08:45 AM

Daniel KVX10 Rodrigues 10-12-2005 10:50 AM

Kreator!!!! (EOG)
My fav thrash album ever... all theyre songs from that album are great! Plus its my fav band :naughty:

MAthiAS 10-12-2005 01:20 PM

...Enemy of God was pretty crap.

I personally thought it was pretty good

metal-militia 10-12-2005 02:34 PM

It's no where near as good as the first 5

RCA 10-12-2005 02:43 PM

Speaking of German thrash, I want Sodom's DVD that is set to come out in a few months.
...Enemy of God was pretty crap.
I liked it. But it has nothing on Pleasure To Kill.

They moved the release date again?

If they did, x 1,000
I personally thought it was pretty good

It had a few good songs, namely the title track and World Anarchy, and the solo to Murder Fantasies was sex. Other than that though, it was pretty mediocre from a band capable of much better music.

RCA 10-12-2005 04:55 PM
They moved the release date again?

Yeah, it's not coming out until December now.

FatalEnergy 10-12-2005 05:03 PM

Yeah, I personally think the first half of Violent Revolution was better than Enemy of God. The second half of Violent Revolution was really really horrible though

RavenousMetalist87 10-12-2005 08:29 PM
Yeah, it's not coming out until December now.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

****it...

Face does have a point that the first half of VR was good. I personally like all of it, but I have to admit, I wasn't too accepting at first. The melody seems to be like candy to me.

Terrorzone 10-12-2005 08:35 PM

I prefer EOG to VR.

Man, just email the link to me, I don't need to be on msn for you to give it to me.
