gaslight 07-09-2009 06:26 AM

prime possum 07-09-2009 06:30 AM

Aaron 07-09-2009 10:46 PM

I hope on it somewhere it has "write review of Catfight On A Hotdog's EP."

My notepad file has your home address on it, a receipe and a phone number for someone called Richard who I know longer remember who he specifically is. lol.

gaslight 07-09-2009 10:47 PM

Oh cool. I keep a word doc of album concepts, titles, song ideas etc.

yeah I've got one of those as an excel file for albums i gotta buy/dl, its getting out of hand

Aaron 07-09-2009 11:00 PM

What's a good length for EPs? I'm thinking the 10 to 15 minute range for my EPs. Is that too short? Too long?

gaslight 07-09-2009 11:07 PM

EPs can be any length you want really.

The Atlas Weights EP is about 40 minutes long which is probably long for an EP.

Aaron 07-09-2009 11:09 PM

I've always thought of EPs as album teasers. y/n?
The first Catfight On A Hotdog album was 79-minutes, lol.

gaslight 07-09-2009 11:11 PM

EPs have become that maybe but I don't consider them that way.

I just think of an EP as a shorter release than an album but its own entity. Never done a Tiger Panic EP but wouldn't rule it out at some point.

Hey countrymen and women, guessing this is getting talked about a lot, but hottest 100, pretty top list so far. Reckon about 5 of my top ten will get in (Tiny Dancer, Bulls on Parade, Hey Jude [those three already in], One [U2] and Stairway). I'm super glad I'm following it because it has introduced me to Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt and I do not know how I did not know it previously, but it is unbelievable. Also I have discovered Bon Iver, similar remarks as above. And rediscovered my love of the Trainspotting soundtrack through Born Slippy by Underworld. Mad song that is. Peace peeps.

gaslight 07-09-2009 11:20 PM

Good to see ya buddy.
