There's multiple styles of death metal, omg![/QUOTE] Well yeah, but a lot of them suck. And a lot of the sucky ones happen to be ones you like. |
They're mid range grumbles.
So, the new BDM is really gud tbh.
Especially the title track and Deathmask Devine.
To A Breathless Oblivion and Warborn are good too. Well, the whole album is quite good.
True. It's still a bit same-y, but not so much as most BDM.
I think that one or two songs are same-y, but they added a much more melodic take to it, as well as better tone all over, a higher vocal style, a less core-ish sound, (I think) better drumming, more tasteful solo's, etc.
The only core sounding stuff was their demos.
I thought Miasma had its moments, but they were few and far between.
Not more than any other death metal release.
Yes, but it didn't change anything about its genre. It was still straight up melodic death metal, as the band has always been.
Well their demos were deathcore, but whatever you say. I mean like the vocals do make it black metal tinged!1
But dood, Dissection haz 2 b Melodic Death Metal because TBDM sounds like them and tats what they r!!1!
Dissection is black metal they have high vocals.

Actually, what I said is Dissection are just as much melodeath as they are black metal. So, in saying that, I was highlighting that your theory of "high vocals that sound like Dissection" making them be "black metal tinged" was shaky at best. |
Yeah, see. I can twist wurds 2 u kno!!!11!
The "hey look, I'm 'ironically' typing like a moron" thing is probably the most self-deprecating thing you've done in an "argument" in a long while.
I guess it's easier than having a point. |
Sure. Keep telling yourself that while you repeatedly ask yourself what happened last night with that burly Jager girl
I took a shot or two when I was already wasted? Burly?
I guess when you're old enough to go to bars in a decade or so you'll realize that girls giving free shots and stuff aren't burly. Not in the least. Also, yet again your retort is completely lacking in a point. If you would have said the new BDM was "black metal tinged" for a valid reason, one that wasn't "the vocals are high they sound like dissection!!!!", it wouldn't have been worth picking apart. If you could have actually presented yourself in a way that wasnt comprised exclusively of typographic diarrhea, well, that wouldn't have hurt either. |
Guys! Guys! I'm listening to 7 Angels 7 Plagues.

You know, "ha ha"? Ugh. Forget it, Coke. I think it's lost on you. |
ITT: Coke and Hbp have an argument (if you could call it that)... what else is new?
