bwnstl 07-24-2006 05:42 PM

I didn't find that one as funny. :(

Jev 07-24-2006 06:06 PM

I did because of Myung's voice.

And that bit at the end.

Chu 07-24-2006 09:27 PM

Hope you don't mind if I add you to MSN Flower Dance.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm49PFQ0stw
Heh, pretty funny, but I don't like ripping Myung. He's so pro.

Atica 07-24-2006 09:53 PM

The video is funny, not as much as the last one, but still pretty cool.

GenuineImitation 07-24-2006 10:02 PM
I read that Steven Wilson said that the Portnoy/Wilson/Opeth dude (name slipped my mind) will not be happening for a while. :(
Yeah it's cool.

Meh, It's just like the JP ripping, Myung's just so quiet you forget he's there half the time.

Kreator2112 07-27-2006 02:28 PM

Bump.

Honor Thy Father is a great song. I don't know why people hate Train of Thought.

Anyone care to discuss?

Shattered_Future 07-27-2006 02:31 PM

Yea, Train Of Thought is one of my favorite DT albums. What does everybody have against it?

Kreator2112 07-27-2006 02:32 PM

Probably because it was a change from their old writting style.

Images and Words.

Up The Irons 07-27-2006 02:43 PM

Train of Thought is a fun album

To heavy, Too much wanking, Not prog enough.
Those aren't my opinions, but what I've heard people say about it.

I love the album.

Lord Abortion 07-27-2006 03:16 PM

I love ToT alot, too.

It's mainly the DT casuals that don't like it.

Jev 07-27-2006 03:18 PM

Or the die hard 90's fans.

EinzingerIsGod 07-27-2006 05:21 PM

ToT feels way too nu-metal for my liking.

eug009 07-27-2006 05:27 PM

ToT is good but as someone said too much guitar wank

GenuineImitation 07-27-2006 05:54 PM
ToT feels way too nu-metal for my liking.
Nu-Metal?

I see a more metal influence, but definetly not nu-metal.

Its a month until "Scores" is released. Hope my poster is on the DVD.

Up The Irons 07-27-2006 07:47 PM

You went? How was it?

By the way, call me a nubaloobaloo, but I like their more recent stuff more than the 90s stuff for the most part.

It was great. You'll love the DVD, especially when the orchestra comes out. The set list was almost perfect. I would have prefered Home or Strange Deja Vu for their Scene From a Memory song. Also, they could have played another song for Falling Into Infinity considering Raise the Knife was technically not on the album.

Up The Irons 07-27-2006 11:44 PM

I think I saw the setlist at one point and was thuroughly impressed.

eug009 07-28-2006 12:52 AM

Heard some samples and it sounds great

They played Peruvian skies, right?

I think if when I see them, they played Take away my pain, that would be just perfect.

That and Surrounded, obviously

oh...and Hollow years
