I'd say being shackled to a good looking, horny, game playing, and guitar playing chick right now would be good. However, this is a rare breed.


In other news, I'm having some decent luck with actually writing guitar riffs as of late. Go figure, I play guitar but could never really write anything I liked... all just basic stuff. However now I'm kind of finding nice simple or even catching riffs and then filling them in with bore. Which is kind of depressing me.


It's like the classic rock demons inside me are happy, then the punk rock demons are like **** you I want power chords... and then they find a happy medium. Though I can't seem to find a transition that works right now from one piece to another. It's like a musical C... you have the opening, you have the verse, you have the chorus, then you don't have a connection back to the verse. It just sounds off... the backing to the verse is too rhythmic and then you just get your basic power chord backing for the chorus.


It doesn't flow... I'm sad =( I do like how I now have like 5 different versions of the same basic riff though.


P.S. - I always figured the closest thing to having sex with a woman through guitar playing is a dual. Basically winner gets to be on bottom for the night. ;)

when a girl antagonizes me, I find that sexy cause I know that's someone who I'm not going to get tired of easily. If the girl has a brain and an attitude such that I can have a decent conversation/debate with her, I find it sexy.
I don't want some girl that's going to do everything I tell her to, or that I can manipulate easily. I'm a control freak, so a girl out of my control is sexy for me.

It depends on how you define the word "antagonize"... if it's in the she makes you want to rip your ears off and shove them down her throat so she chokes to death all for the sake of getting her to shut up about how wrong you are and her opinion is right. Well, then you have issues. If it's just that she has your own opinion, and you are both open to further conversation on the topic with out killing each other. Then, you have no issues and I agree with you.


I once met a girl in a bar, we talked for 2 hours. We talked about politics, we talked about school, we talked about work, we talked about the economy, we talked about the upcoming election (this was fall 2008) and how we felt about each candidate for the presidency. She really seemed in to me, but then she rejected me. That's not that point of the story though... granted it would have been a better point if I had gotten laid at the end.


Point is we talked for 2 hours, after about the first hour I had her full and un-divided attention and she pretty much had mine. We didn't agree on everything, but we enjoyed the other person's perspective. Not to mention we touched every subject on the "if you want to get laid don't talk to a girl about this subject" list. I'm not sure if it was the list, or what... but I didn't get laid. I did however have a nice 2 hour flirting session with a 7/10. Nothing spectacular, but she walked up to me and I was curious.

Well she had a Chem Engineering Bach Degree and I'm going for dual major Electrical and Computer Engineering Bach Degree. So neither of us were really too fond of him, plus despite being naturally blonde (she did kind of have an airy feeling to her, which was explained when she told me she was natural blonde) she actually had a brain.


However this really ditzy, democratic, Californian, DD-size breast, 5' 2", room mate of my friends who I would have really liked to get at (though my friend kind of dissuaded her) really loved Obama. Thankfully I was chasing after her spring of '08, not fall... so I didn't have to tie her up and give her a piece of me. Though that probably would have been fun :smash:

So I booked a band For the bar by house. The owner is a lil strapped for cash as buisness has been a lil slow and booked them and then cancelled when they did budget. I thought that was a lil shady so I offered to front the money and if they do well I get my money back. plus a percentage of bar sales. If they don't get the croud then I stand to lose $150 at most. Thats pretty cheap for a band I think. Its just a 2 man acoustic band but they are pretty good I have seen them a time or to locally. I also enlisted the use of my PA so they don't have to rent one. Provided I figure out how to use it. They are not playing until the 30th and I have them coming out next sunday to do a sound check and what not.

How awesome am I to do this to help out the local music scene?
