Party at my place tonite. It's kicking.
Some poor sap left his phone (w/ camera) laying around. So I took a screen shot of that 'girl in the tub' and saved it as his wallpaper.
Hahah.

denboy 09-24-2005 08:46 AM

Haha, that's mean

KKKKKocaine 09-24-2005 10:34 AM
nah, all the excercise is in the assembly.
Yeah I could really feel it in my back when it was finished. I'll just set up a few more benches and then I'll move onto lifting cars.

who'd've thought aes had a secret love for tubby?

Can i come to the party? :upset:

Actually I am out tonight (and with other people aswell! how weird is that...) My mate's band is gigging, and i don't really like them, and the support seem mediocre, but i'm sure it'll be a fun night.

airborne50caliber 09-24-2005 10:53 AM

Tub girl is not for the faint hearted.

KKKKKocaine 09-24-2005 12:06 PM

Gah some people are so annoying. I've been posting around the set up for opinions. And mostly I've gotten helpful stuff.
One tool decided to drop in his own dumb opinion about how he doesn't like digital because it sounds dead.

What a prick. I obviously planned the entire budget but just overlooked the digital vs analog argument.

moaner 09-24-2005 04:41 PM

I met a cool chick tonight, we had so much in common.

We both weren't drinking
we both hated smoking
We both like being strange
We both liked acting all happy
We both liked rock music
We both liked eachother
We both liked girls :upset:

Accuracy alert: she was actually bi :) But had a gf :(

Sorry. It finished about 5 hours ago.

I just got up then, my backyard and kitchen are an absolute mess.
I better get to cleaning up.

Hey Chris, what's happening?

Oh, and thanks for your rep, I appreciate it (not too far from stars now, 322 points to go!).

Sounds like a good time. I wish I could of made it. :upset:
How drunk did you get? Do anything stupid or noteworthy?

Man that would suck. "hey you know I'd go out with you if I didn't have a girlfriend"...
Hey Chris, what's happening?
Hello.
Just finished dinner.
Am still yet to mop the family room and kitchen floors after Saturday night.
As it still has that post-party 'stickyness' to it.
So I might get to that now.

NP about the rep, but it was the message that I sent with the rep that should be seen as more important than the rep itself.
How drunk did you get? Do anything stupid or noteworthy?
I posted on an internet forum. haha.

Do you live by yourself?

And yeah, I'm not going to bother arguing with Ben anymore, because I am constantly assured that he is always being facetious/trolling, and doesn't actually mean what he says. Thanks none-the-less, of course.

Aes820 09-26-2005 05:25 AM

I've got a housemate. A good mate of mine.
His missus stays over occasionally as well.

Diatonic Dissonance™ 09-26-2005 05:43 AM

Sounds good.

Hey, I was meaning to ask you...

I posted an article in the lesson area in the guitar forum, and part of the lesson involves (or involved) downloading a song that I uploaded to help illustrate some of my points.

Can I keep it there? Or do I have to get rid of it?

Thanks.

denboy 09-26-2005 05:45 AM

I was thinking about that earlier and, you could just cut out the part of the song you were talking about, I believe if it's only a 5 or 10 second clip, then it isn't copyright infringement

Diatonic Dissonance™ 09-26-2005 05:50 AM

True, or I could always just MIDI it.

denboy 09-26-2005 05:50 AM

Nooo!.. Hehe, that would be unfair to Mr Lanes awesome tone ;)

Diatonic Dissonance™ 09-26-2005 05:55 AM

That is true!

Aes820 09-26-2005 06:09 AM
That is true!
Ahh don't worry about it.
I don't mind.
Doubt anyone will notice.

But maybe in the future just cut out the part of the song you wanted.
Any replication of even part of a song is still copright infringement tho.
But if it's kept low key and under the radar it should be right.

Diatonic Dissonance™ 09-26-2005 06:11 AM

Thank you very very very very much, I really appreciate it because it saves me a lot of time and also lets other people realise just how amazing Shawn Lane is.

Another thing I want to ask you, and I remember asking you on ICQ, but I don't remember your answer.

Having just read your post in that thread regarding fission and fusion reactions, I really want to know - where did you learn everything that you know?

What did you study at university? Were you always good at physics? Do you just read all of this stuff on the internet? Do you just have a great memory and remember things you were taught in year 8?

denboy 09-26-2005 06:11 AM

I'm pretty sure there's a time limit on it, like you can post a 5 second clip, or 10 second clip without it breaking the law

Diatonic Dissonance™ 09-26-2005 06:30 AM

Alright, well I'm off to play pool with my brother now.

If you could answer my questions, Chris, I would appreciate it and I'll reply tomorrow morning some time.

The rest of you take care.

Aes.. I beg for you to delete the offtopic posts in that thread, it's pretty obvious that no good will come out of it

why have we never seen him?

/demands to see him (preferably playing air guitar to Aes's flashy 'lix'"), but in the nicest possible way :)
why have we never seen him?
I know that you have.

I never studied physics or anything like that at a tertiary level. I was never really good enough at it to continue it on, but I do have an interest in it.

Diatonic Dissonance™ 09-26-2005 09:40 PM

Ah, so you just read up about it?

Mackie are bastards.

Someone reccomended changing my two presonus firepods for a mackie firewire mixer.
So I tracked down the model of most use to me. (Which happens to be the top end model in their firewire range) the 1640. It'd cost me 919 pounds. That's cool though, because the firepods cost 958.
I then got bored and started reading through the detailed specs, at the very bottom, they reveal the catch.

You have to buy the firewire I/O card seperately.

Well I assumed this wouldn't cost more than 100. So I set off looking for it.

400 pounds.

I'd now like to point out, that in Mackies adverts, even the full A4 magazine adverts. They prattle on about how great the firewire mixer is.
But they fail to mention anywhere that you need a seperate card.
What a bunch of cocksmiths.

At the moment I've just really got into weight lifting. Before it was mostly boxing and kickboxing work so mostly cardio, sparring and bag work.
So at the moment I'm on about 50lbs. I think I could bring that number up more but I don't wanna jump into the deep end before my techniques all fine really. (Plus I don't have any more weights until some more money enters my bank account :p ) The annoying thing is, naturally most of my work out goals are based around kickboxing and boxing but I don'ta ctually have a single cieling or wall in my house that will take the weight of a full punching bag so I've got to make do with a double end bag. :upset:

I don't remember owning you, sit my child. And tell me a story. :p

Diatonic Dissonance™ 09-29-2005 05:27 AM

Sounds good. Yeah, I just got back from the gym today, I really love it.

Hmm, if I were to tell you that I am formerly known as "god_hates_us_all", would that give it away? If not I'll tell you about it. (Unless you're just feigning loss of memory so as to make me exploit the ownage first-hand :p)
