I like Phobia; only thing is, that guy's growl is not a very good one. It could be way, way better.

RetiredAt21 11-24-2005 10:00 PM

I think it's good.

Gnarmageddon 11-24-2005 10:12 PM

I like it too.

I always like it when there's a low, grunting guy, then a really high pitched screamer too.

Subvert_bassist 11-24-2005 10:29 PM

Yeah, I do really like it, like with Phobia, Disrupt, and Nasum.

I dunno, I've never listened to Phobia much; I guess if I listen to them more, I'd get over my dislike of his growl.

Josh made me listen to Phobia, and I didn't really like them. I wasn't into grind much then, so I'll give them another listen.

I listened to Scum the other day and I loved it, I wasn't even stoned and it was good.

SubtleDagger 11-24-2005 11:21 PM

Anyone?

RetiredAt21 11-24-2005 11:26 PM

Holy s'hit. They are f'ucking great.

SubtleDagger 11-24-2005 11:32 PM

Agreed.

Yeah, I always like that more then straight up growls or screams.

www.punkstuff.com is awesome, I might get that Hirax hoodie sometime.

Feel The Darkness 11-25-2005 02:06 AM

I got my Warcollapse shirt form them at Chaos in Tejas. They had a booth set up. I was in awe of all the badass ****.

Feel The Darkness 11-25-2005 03:09 AM

fuck yes! Good stuff

cbmartinez 11-25-2005 12:22 PM

Wow, Watchmaker is awesome. It's like Converge + thrash.

clustifux 11-25-2005 01:28 PM
Thanks man, have you heard the new recording of it on our myspace?
http://www.myspace.com/subvertcitizens
Yeah, it sounds a **** load more aggressive than the older one. Kapitolism Killz is pretty rad to.

I just got the Dystopia- 'Human=Garbage' album. Its f*cin great!

Subvert_bassist 11-25-2005 02:32 PM

Yeah, it is more agressive. It's much better. You should hear our new stuff; it has more of an Aus-Rotten or BORN/DEAD sound to it.

Watchmaker is ****ing amazing.

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 03:28 PM

Watchmaker is one of my new favorite bands. F'ucking amazing. Thanks Burt.

whiteminority 11-25-2005 04:26 PM

I just checked out that Watchmaker... fuck yeah.

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 04:38 PM

I wasn't expecting anything that good, but then again, has Burt ever let us down? Of course not.

Brain Toad 11-25-2005 04:45 PM

They are pretty good.

I made the mistake of clicking their Myspace, letting it load not paying attention and having my speakers turned up pretty loud. I met a big surprise.

whiteminority 11-25-2005 04:49 PM

That would just make it all the better in my opinion.

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 04:56 PM

I always crank s'hit up when I'm listening to grind.

whiteminority 11-25-2005 05:00 PM

I do the same then get threatened to lose the cd through breakage if I don't turn it down.

my parents = il duce, hitler, and pol pot all rolled into one...

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 05:02 PM

My parents don't really care how loud my music is, unless they're watching tv.

Brain Toad 11-25-2005 05:03 PM

As long as my music doesn't interrupt what they are doing, I can keep it as loud as I want. I usually don't crank it up too high unless I have the house to myself and feel like frightening the neighbors.

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 05:06 PM

My neighbors are always cranking up rap music or that annoying Sheryl Crow+Kid Rock song. They listen to it EVERYDAY.

whiteminority 11-25-2005 05:18 PM

Do what the tr00 black metal bands did when the church got in their way, burn the damn house down.

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 05:21 PM

My house is connected to theirs. :(

whiteminority 11-25-2005 05:22 PM

put sugar in the gas tank of their car.

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 05:23 PM

I thought of that before, and I might actually do it.

whiteminority 11-25-2005 05:30 PM

/high five

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 05:34 PM

YEEEEYA BOI

whiteminority 11-25-2005 05:36 PM

justin leave your scenester hell of x Lancaster x and come here (knoxville.) we could do a grind band and tear it up.

Gnarmageddon 11-25-2005 06:07 PM

If my parents heard half of the stuff I listen to, their heads would explode.

cbmartinez 11-25-2005 09:00 PM

I just picked up the Converge/Agoraphobic Nosebleed split, could someone tell me is it The Poached Diaries or The Poacher Diaries? It comes up on WMP as The Poached Diaries but I could swear it's The Poacher Diaries.

Wow, Agoraphobic Nosebleed are fucking awesome.

The Poacher Diaries

cbmartinez 11-25-2005 09:13 PM

Thanks.

Gnarmageddon 11-25-2005 09:49 PM

So I just noticed that the members of The Mystery of John Ashcroft appear to be very young. And they're good too.

Any chance you could send The Poacher Diaries to me, Chris?

RetiredAt21 11-25-2005 10:14 PM

My favorite Agoraphobic Nosebleed song is Her Despair Reeks Of Alcohol. That's such a good song.

Subvert_bassist 11-25-2005 10:43 PM

Mine is **** Slit. Dunno why.
