Well I had been looking at the release for awhile, and the distro I bought it from mainly sells black metal. The cover suggests it's a metal release as well, so I was just convicned it was black metal before even reading the description.

No, but reading the description makes it clear it wouldn't be black metal considering it was described as "Crypt of the Wizard-ish electronic music" and Crypt of the Wizard is obviously an album by Mortiis, which started as an electronic/darkwave project. So clearly this description is accurate and had no reference to black metal what so ever.
