Yeah, Hayden Christiansen is a horrible actor. But he looks like he might do an okay job in this movie because he's supposed to be all cold and emotionless. And that's what Hayden Christiansen does best, acts with no emotion.

 So true.

Has anyone seen the new end of RoftheJ, and he's stood there with Joda, and Obi, them too look happy, and he looks a moody twat, i just want to punch him.
I don't care what anyone says, Episode III looks amazing and just might redeem the Star Wars franchise.
The whole Star Wars franchise doesn't need redeeming. Just Epidsodes One and Two.

True. But it really has gotten ridiculous lately. Lucas cares more about merchandise than he does about making a decent movie. The fanfic is really amazing though, I need to get back into reading it.

Yeah, that was ridiculous. He completely ruined that ending.

I was talking to my mate about this before, i said, that lucus said, he only made these recently, because he new there would be big technological advances, and would be able to film things like the pod race and stuff, but he said he new how much the other made and wanted more money, and he's proberly right.

And the changing of the anakin at the end of ROTJ made me hate Hayden even more.

Yeah, there's stuff like Yoda Soda and Chewie is on cereal boxes now. It's sad. I wish he would do 7, 8 and 9 but those would probably suck too. If only he hadn't taken that 20 year break. Another problem is that while George Lucas is an imaginative man, he can't direct. ESB and ROTJ were directed by someone else I believe and were much better movies. I remember when there were rumors of Speilberg directing one which would have turned out to be a great movie.

The commercialization was more prevalent in the 70s.

I'm gonna put stuff on the Zen then go to sleep

Ive not seen all them on cerial boxes, proberly because i havnt been to the supermarket in a while, I think lucas shouls just stick with creating the main storey and just producing it and stuff. Speilberg would of been awesome if he directed.

I'm just saying you can't say seeing them on cereal is ridiculous when you have that in comparison. Lunch boxes, sheets, tableware, etc.... Hell, they had actual Star Wars cereal.

cbmartinez 04-25-2005 03:30 PM

There are no official Episode 7, 8 and 9 books. There's a lot of fanfic that I have read but Lucas said he wouldn't even base it off that.

The books literally cover everything from directly after the Endor battle till 20 years+ down the road. Originally at least all the storylines were also approved by Lucas.

Yeah, I know. My friend has read almost all of the NJO and I've read The Bounty Hunter Wars, Truce At Bakura, The X-Wing Series, The Courtship Of Princess Leia and just started Tatooine Ghost. I know that Lucas approved of it but apparently he made a comment that if he made something in the movies that contradicted fanfic, he would not care.

ColdFire 04-25-2005 03:37 PM

There are no official ones but the published ones are very believable and fit very well in the star wars universe.

Yeah, I haven't had much time to read them lately with AP US. And plus, my mom gives me the, "Those aren't real books, Chris," even though they're excellently written and some go up to 400 pages. Star By Star even goes to 600 I believe (I haven't read that, as I'm going in order starting after ROTJ with the Bounty Hunter Wars). I also have The Essential Guide To Vehicles And Vessels.

Untitled 04-25-2005 03:50 PM

How are these books set? Is there a new sith lord or something, the empoerer got killed in ROTJ, and the empire killed off, surly theres nothing more bad? Or is there new Dark Jedi and stuff. Ive actully heard Leah turns to the dark side in one book?

Ridin' down the highway
Goin' to a show
Stop in all the by-ways
Playin' rock 'n' roll
Gettin' robbed
Gettin' stoned
Gettin' beat up
Broken boned
Gettin' had
Gettin' took
I tell you folks
It's harder than it looks

It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you think it's easy doin' one night stands
Try playin' in a rock roll band
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll

Hotel, motel
Make you wanna cry
Lady do the hard sell
Know the reason why
Gettin' old
Gettin' grey
Gettin' ripped off
Under-paid
Gettin' sold
Second hand
That's how it goes
Playin' in a band

It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you wanna be a star of stage and screen
Look out it's rough and mean
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll

(Thunder) (x10)
I was caught
In the middle of a railroad track
I looked round
And I knew there was no turning back (Thunder)
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do (Thunder)
And I knew
There was no help, no help from you (Thunder)

Sound of the drums
Beatin' in my heart
The thunder of guns
Tore me apart
You've been - thunderstruck

Rode down the highway
Broke the limit, we hit the town
Went through to Texas, yeah Texas
And we had some fun
We met some girls
Some dancers who gave a good time
Broke all the rules, played all the fools
Yeah, yeah, they, they, they blew our minds

I was shakin' at the knees
Could I come again please?
Yeah the ladies were too kind
You've been - thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Yeah yeah yeah, thunderstruck

Yeah
Oh, thunderstruck, yeah

Now we're shaking at the knees
Could I come again please?

Thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Yeah yeah yeah, thunderstruck
Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah

Said yeah, it's alright
We're doing fine
Yeah, it's alright
We're doing fine
(So fine)

Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Thunderstruck, thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Whoa baby, baby, thunderstruck
You've been thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Thunderstruck, thunderstruck, thunderstruck
You've been thunderstruck
