Well, I think Pink Floyd is the worst band in the world, so, a cada lo suyo! :)
^ does no-one want to see my band?
(we dont actually play any music in the vid but its funny as hell)

Gackt 05-07-2005 02:05 PM

hehe, yeah trivium singer is amazing

moxshyfter 05-07-2005 02:06 PM

I dunno Neal, they just do nothing for me. I'm a pretty intense kind of person; the super-slow, uneventful music just kills my boner faster than the thought of Janet Reno whacking off in the shower...

fatbandit 05-07-2005 02:08 PM

Mox, I think I like you. You like music you can really get into? Faster paced, involving music? Instead of mindless displays of virtuosity? :D

moxshyfter 05-07-2005 02:10 PM

Yes, exactly. I'm very empathetic when I see bands play and/or listen to music. If I can feel the emotion/passion that the artists are putting into it, it is awesome. Consequently, that dreary, slow, emotionless sound like PF has was just never really part of my life, so I never liked it.

fatbandit 05-07-2005 02:12 PM

I agree entirely! Thing is, I'm not naturally very active, with a great stage presence. And I just can't make myself move. Its really annoying. So it can come across as a little boring I think.

moxshyfter 05-07-2005 02:14 PM

Well, then I would say that you're not playing the right kind of music! :)

We wrote some pretty heavy stuff back in the day, and even though our music wasn't great by any means, we were known for being very lively on stage which made it a ton more fun even if the audience didn't enjoy the show.

Seeing people having fun makes me have fun. Seeing people bored makes me want to pull our my armpit hairs one by one...

Hmmmm you see i can do both, i'll listen to something as intense as SOiL/Metallica etc but most of my favourite bands are slow indie stuff, i just feel they convery more emotion through their music, especially David Gilmour's guitar playing with Floyd, never have i heard such emotion form an instrument...

moxshyfter 05-07-2005 02:15 PM

Well, I'm glad you see where I'm coming from! :)

If that is what you relate to and identify with, great!

Might be the WORST image EVER.

jaco jr 05-07-2005 02:17 PM

does no one care about my band? :upset:
and i like a slow song when im in the right frame of mood
some are incredibly beautiful - eg jeff buckely's version of hallelujah

neal_672 05-07-2005 02:17 PM

:thumb: goodo, i tend to find much heavier music (generally) is just as a break when i want something heavier and faster when i'm in a certain mood or for musicianship purposes, but glad you understand :thumb:

moxshyfter 05-07-2005 02:17 PM

Or Martha Stewart going down on her...

Ok I better stop before Wintermute comes in here and kills me...

fatbandit 05-07-2005 02:17 PM

Nah... Whatever I play, I just can't seem to pull off activity... I dunno why. I'm a bit of a lardarse, but that shouldn't make a difference... I really just don't know.

We play punk, pretty much, and we have a very lively singer, and my guitarist nearly falls over in a drunken stupor every gig, but other than that... Nothing!

:upset:

Its not really the kind of music I dig, but the kind of stuff I do dig, I probably still wouldn't be able to get into in :s

My media player is playing Metal Militia and Bleeding Me at the same time somehow, for some reason. How bizarre  My computer is haunted!

lemoley 05-07-2005 02:17 PM

hey guys hows it going

Haha, cool. Jack is generally my escape from heavy music. I like Lamb of God, Slipknot, Bury Your Dead, Trust Company, Remembering Never, Chevelle, etc and then Jack is in there to balance me out every now and then!
