Yea so everyone hates deathcore. Mostly death metal elitists, who are close minded fools. It is still metal music. Make fun of rap or country, not a sub-genre of metal with subtle enough differences (depending on the band of course). Point being is that it is still metal so just leave the genre alone.

My favorite example I've heard from an elitist douche was, "Beneath the Massacre is Technical Deathcore, because there are a few breakdowns."

it's awesome if done right just like everything else but it's by no means a genre of music.

Meshuggah is one of my favorite bands. Bulb and Periphery have some great riffs combined with very bad vocals.

I'm not saying djent is a genre or anything. The djent guitar tone is annoying and since most "djent" bands base their music around the guitar tone all of the music sounds the same to me. It irritates me when people go "It's not blah-core it's progressive" because of the djent. There's too many "progressive" bands that are making no progress whatsoever.
