Just bought a new guitar cable. Turns out the extreme noise in the signal cumming into my audio interface when I record wasn't coming from the cables. It's probably my amp. It's not really apparent when I just play guitar over the amp, but when I send the signal to the audio interface, some noise that's apparently present in the amp gets amplified like mad. I don't have money to get my amp repaired. :\

Anyway, I just noticed that if anything touches the backside of the body of my guitar, the noise gets worse, so maybe it's my pickups.
