have you seen his new movie? i hear its good but i cant get my hands on it. ong-bak is fucking bad ass though.
You are talking about Tom Yum Goong, correct? (I don't remember the English title.) Anyway, I watched that some months back before it was released here, but it was in Thai with Mandarin subtitles. You have to love your Asian friends.
Psh! I am far too maaaaawnly for pedals.

Does your rig have a 4x10" and 2 1x15"? Yeah, I didn't think, so. Of course, I don't run it like that, but maybe I should.

I am currently running two 4Ohm cabs in parallel, which turns it into 2Ohms, and my head supports a 2Ohm load, but, if I ran them in series, it would bump it up to 8Ohms, and the addition of the third cabinet in series would then equal 16Ohms, if I am not mistaken. Either that or somewhere around there.

I am kind of curious about that working or not. :amaze:
Pffbt.

You may have 2 cabs, but I'm running 2 big-ass pedals. :p

Spaceman Spiff 11-13-2006 09:06 PM

If someone tried to pull some random martial arts crap on me, I'd probably shoot him.

Pluperfect_Arson 11-13-2006 09:06 PM
Okay. I'll try to find something I did well on.
Pedals are for bassists trying to cover up the fact that they can't play.
like anything, buy books and read them from cover to cover. tools are pretty exspensive, but it's tons of fun man. and dont get discouraged easily because its definately not easy at first.

first tool to buy: a huge square. you'll keep it for the rest of yourlife and use it 65465168462516584 times.
i've had some close calls, but my father and i still have all of our fingers. you just have to be rediculously careful. the worst ive gotten was a cut from a band saw that went about 1/2 and inch in my hand. 9 stiches later i was right as rain.

I do it to my friend randomly, but, of course, I don't knee him full force. :p

The opportunity arises so little, though. :(

You're off my Christmas list.

Pluperfect_Arson 11-13-2006 09:21 PM

I am out for a bit.
Bye, errryone.

Ben: I am sending myself to you as a token of my appreciation.

One Groovin Clown 11-13-2006 09:21 PM

Pedals are for the great.

Wait....

Multi-effect pedals are for the great.

PaulSimonon 11-13-2006 09:22 PM

Ew multi pedals...

Ewwww digital effects...

Rollo47 11-13-2006 09:22 PM

So, I won an arts scholarship. $1000 is heading my way :)

Efrim 11-13-2006 09:27 PM

Pshaa, multi-effect pedals.

Buy $400 single effects, like a real man

Nah, I'd rather spend thousands on other stuff instead. :p

But seriously.

Once I upgrade my bass, the pedals are next.

Efrim 11-13-2006 09:32 PM

I want to hear a Ben Lesser noise album.

One Groovin Clown 11-13-2006 09:33 PM

Pedals are secondary. I only use a small amount of the effects on my ME-50b any how.

thelowsoundofbass 11-13-2006 09:34 PM

Hello to the casual. Speaking of noise music I came up with some cool noises with my guitar, distortion, delay and an echo like effect that is on my amp, don't know its real name.

lowsound

...reverb?

That's great, I've made people throw bottles at me because I hurt their ears with my noise.
