i have played for 2 1/2 year, the only thing im happy with is two of my fingers on my right hand :p

Only thing I'm happy with is a few of my melodies, which are now sounding bland to me... Sad.

I badly want to transcribe music now. If I can't make up good music, I will atleast have an awesome ear :p.

sod it! i've decided that i'm just going to write/play generic metal rubbish and pollute the world with my Kreator/Death/Megadeth rip offs (minus the solos)

Go to Rollo's soundclick, and listen to some of his songs. Especially the ones he entered for the slap comps.

I've got *decent* speed, but I can't keep rythm without a drummer or metronome, and I can't phrase like you. And I'm too inconsistent.

My slap comp ones are awful. I never made it past the first round.

Meh. I think I have the one you used in the first slap comp on my WMP, it's fantastic.
