It's hard to misfire on Indian food in my experience. If you like what you've had so far it's likely you'll like most of it. I can't give you any specific dishes off the top of my head though.
When I say I don't know anything about the food, it means I've like never had anything Indian ever. Was looking for something particularly good I guess, preferably chicken based!
i havent enjoyed most "oriental" food ive had tbh
oic. Tikka Masala or Chicken (or some other meat) Korma are the go to dishes I think.
I should mention that I only ever have Indian food in England, so there might be variations to cater for different tastes and whatnot. |
I hate Indian food.
As long as it is spicy and has chicken I should be ok
I can't remember having Indian food in the past, whenever I want something with spicy and chicken I just turn to Thai food.
I quite mild Indian foods. Their curries are too friggin' currigeous for me.
That's because you Aussies are a soft breed tbh
That's why England invented a type of vegemite that's 50% sugar in an effort to hide the natural taste of yeast extract?
what
Marmite is what we use, and as I quote - "Today, the main ingredients of Marmite manufactured in the UK are yeast extract, with lesser quantities of sodium chloride (table salt), vegetable extract, niacin, thiamine, spice extracts, riboflavin, folic acid, and celery extracts, although the precise composition is a trade secret.[4] By 1912, the discovery of vitamins was a boost for Marmite, as the spread is a rich source of the vitamin B complex; vitamin B12 is not naturally found in yeast extract, but is added to Marmite during manufacture. With the vitamin B1 deficiency beri-beri being common during the First World War, the spread became more popular.[5]" No sugar there. I do miss it here slightly though :( I might still have some at home, which would be a little weird because it was only my dad who used it, meaning it would have had to have been there for well over 2 years. |
I was talking about Promite, but Marmite is still a sweet little pussy spread. And seeing as all the "mites" are technically mouldy bread, it's rather hard for them to go off.
I've never heard of Promite. I assume it's marketed towards the gays.
Meanwhile, that Judas Priest song that Jono posted is pretty cool.
Ay it was.
Seems we've driven all of the Americans out of the thread with our yeast talk. |
So I got the ACT's on Wednesday.
:( |
I didn't know those tests were on weekdays at all
Yeah, we get all of the Junior class into one big room to take it. Kinda lame I think.
thats retarded. did you have to pay for it?
nope, thankfully.
okay thats pretty sick then. do you go to public or private school?
Our ACT has been going since 1911.
I go to a public school.
I also think Illinois has a law where you take it for free anyways. I don't know if that is exactly true though. |
