That and...

I can't think of anything else.
By the way, how did your paper come along?
They're all still in progress. However, one of them is close to completion, on account of the fact that it is due Thursday.

Pluperfect_Arson 11-13-2006 08:37 PM
Height doesn't have anything to do with the weight of the bass but it does have to do with width of yoour sholder which effects how light/heavy the bass will feel on you.

For everybody who didn't see the link earlier
Quit being a little girl and bulk up some. :p

Also, I was 5'6" at one point in time, and basses didn't seem that heavy to me either, so I don't know. Maybe you are just too much of a woooomaaaawn. :p

It shouldn't feel that heavy, though, and I don't know much about Moody straps. I have a Levi's suede/leather one, and it is niiiiice.
Alright, then you can receive one for Hanukkah if that is what you celebrate. :p
Yay! :D

I'll have to do something special for you.

Jeez, I'm wondering if a 4" strap is too thick.

irishslappop 11-13-2006 08:45 PM

i was a skinny bitch for a good while but i've been working out pretty steadily for about 8 months now. bulking up is soooo easy: work out. working out makes you hungry, eat a **** load, repeat.
Jeez, I'm wondering if a 4" strap is too thick.
In my opinion, 3" is just fine. I don't have a big anatomical structure, so I am leeeeettle. 3" is just right, and I think 4" would be a little big especially if you are 5'6".

Thats the thing Moody comes in 4" and 2.5".

Yeah, bulking up is incredibly easy if you are consistent with it, and you know what you are doing.

Otherwise, it can be a bit complicated for those that don't.

Running also builds up an appetite.

Then don't purchase a Moody strap? Go check out some Levi's straps. They are nice for the price. I think I paid 20$ for mine.

One Groovin Clown 11-13-2006 08:49 PM

I should start on the bulking process. I'm petite.

irishslappop 11-13-2006 08:51 PM

its a good thing to do. you never know when your gonna be in a situation where a little muscle would help. but body builders are just gay.

Yeah, I've got one of those Levi straps too. They're secks.

Pluperfect_Arson 11-13-2006 08:52 PM

I am not bulky in the slightest. I am defined because of when I used to wrestle and whatnot, and I run and sometimes do some exercises here and there. I am also on the lower side of my weight. I should weigh about 135 (~61kg) - 140lbs (~63.6kg) or something like that, and I am all of around 120lb (~54.5kg).

Cut and defined>bulky

irishslappop 11-13-2006 08:54 PM

i agree. im not as scared of a guy that is huge and bulky as i am of a guy that i know is strong and quick. those are the ones that will **** you up.
Yeah, I've got one of those Levi straps too. They're secks.
Indeed, they are.

It also goes quite nicely with my SR506 if I do say so myself.

Oh em gee.

We're, like, so totally similar.

Except for, you know, like, the part where, um, my rig is, like, totally better than yours.

:p

hey dan, long story short i want to get into woodworking to make cabinets, desks, sculptures, or whatever I feel like at the time. Ive been seriously pondering this for a while and I would be willing to do this for a living or very serious hobby (ie I want to sell what i make). any advice or babblings?

Yeah, that is like my Asian friend, Tim. He isn't bulky or anything in the slightest, and he has some chub on him, but that kid could, honestly, kick anyone's ass if the chance came up. He wouldn't do it for the hell of it, though. He would only do it to defend himself or a friend.

I am not even going to start talking about his dad. That guy would just dominate everyone.

Pfft. Your rig might be better than mine, but I have more parts to my rig, and I have the tone that I am looking for, so ha! :p

Also, I should be buying a new head sometime soon whenever I have the money.

like anything, buy books and read them from cover to cover. tools are pretty exspensive, but it's tons of fun man. and dont get discouraged easily because its definately not easy at first.

first tool to buy: a huge square. you'll keep it for the rest of yourlife and use it 65465168462516584 times.
More parts? What, do you have some wussy little pedals or something? :p
Psh! I am far too maaaaawnly for pedals.

Does your rig have a 4x10" and 2 1x15"? Yeah, I didn't think, so. Of course, I don't run it like that, but maybe I should.

I am currently running two 4Ohm cabs in parallel, which turns it into 2Ohms, and my head supports a 2Ohm load, but, if I ran them in series, it would bump it up to 8Ohms, and the addition of the third cabinet in series would then equal 16Ohms, if I am not mistaken. Either that or somewhere around there.

I am kind of curious about that working or not. :amaze:

Tim knows Tony Jaa, personally.

Okay, maybe not, but Tim would Muay Thai your ass faster than you could say "Please, no!" :p

HELLonWHEELS 11-13-2006 09:04 PM

I find that the only pedal i have evr used was my Fulltone Bassdrive.
