Flat tire.

Mom calls me to yell at me because I drove on it.
'Cause it was past 11:30, freezing out, and we were next to a very, very seedy bad dangerous neighborhood.
Plus, it wasn't ENTIRELY flat. Like, it wasn't clunking, or lumping along, the rim wasn't touching the ground.

But she calls me to yell at me.
And says that if I ****ed up the rim [which she's POSITIVE I did since I didn't change to the spare], it would cost upwards of $500 to fix.
Now, I don't have that kind of money, she knows it, we all know it, I barely have enough for gas and cell phone.
So I ask her.
"Well what do you want me to do, pay for it with my credit card and then just not pay that off?"
And she yells
"WELL I DON'T KNOW, I'M NOT REALLY HAPPY WITH THE IDEA OF REWARDING STUPIDITY!!!"
At which point I promptly said goodnight and goodbye, hung up my phone, and threw it at the wall.

Yeah, thanks. Just to add, I have graduated with a certificate from the Audio Engineering Program at Hot Sole Music. Hot Sole is THE engineering program in BC, the most well renowned in the industry here, and in my opinion (after attending the Arts Institute's Professional Recording Arts Program) the best in the area. Just thought I'd let you all know I'm not just some jackass with some mics and Pro Tools, I do have training.

So I have a problem, which will mean I have a question.
I like to put films, tv shows and all other videos onto my iPod right. I make sure I get them all in AVI format and I convert them to MP4 using a proper iPod video converter. But the thing is the quality of the videos when they're on my iPod is really bad, like its hard to make out some text and things like that if they come on the screen, for example if the character is reading a book and the camera goes onto the page or whatever. So what can I do to make the video quality better? Like, what settings do I need to change and that?

Yeah thats what I meant, its all pixelated and such. I thought as much, but id rather sacrifice file size for video quality. But I dont seem to have an option to do so, or there probably is but I dont know what it is.
