Cain 01-18-2005 11:01 PM

Just got Call of Duty and it rocks my socks. But everyone here seems to really like this Star Wars game: what's so cool about it? Is it like one of those Dark Forces continuation games or something different?

Permanent Solution 01-18-2005 11:03 PM

It's an RPG...the first was great, the new one is better.

Kingofdudes 01-18-2005 11:05 PM

Aha. Man, I haven't kept up with these Star Wars games at all.

The original Tie Fighter is still > everything

That's hilarious. The elitist wars are beginning.

Or maybe they have already...I haven't been here for a while....

What's new Bartender. I haven't been here in weeks...what's happening?

ArcLite 01-19-2005 01:03 AM

Good morning gentlemen. Ripper, I was wondering where you were. You're usually here with the late night crew. Been busy with school?

Not quite. I've been on vacation, and the internet @ home is dial-up...it wasn't even worth the time to get connected, much less constantly refreshing and replying on mx. I decided to take a break.

ArcLite 01-19-2005 01:17 AM

I see. Damn, I need a vacation as well. Where'd you go?

Cain 01-19-2005 01:22 AM

Home.

...it was kind of a lame vacation.

ok I need sleep. catch ya later, cj.

Bartender 01-19-2005 01:24 AM
What's new Bartender. I haven't been here in weeks...what's happening?
Hey man, sorry. Got caught up watching a film. The main new thing is the new CD Reviews site. Other than that, not much, I think.

Riva 01-19-2005 01:29 AM

I am here, to solve all your problems.

Bartender 01-19-2005 01:30 AM

Oh good. Get solving, then.

ArcLite 01-19-2005 01:31 AM

I need a vacation and a new guitar, solve that.

Riva 01-19-2005 01:34 AM

Simply take a vacation to your local guitar shop, my son.

ArcLite 01-19-2005 01:36 AM
Simply take a vacation to your local guitar shop, my son.
Ehh :upset: . Guess you pinned that one to me. Well done sir.

Riva 01-19-2005 01:38 AM

You are welcome, my son. All are welcome to ask questions of the yogi.

ArcLite 01-19-2005 01:40 AM

I will make my vacation this weekend. I want a Ibanez Satriani model.

Riva 01-19-2005 01:46 AM

Should Bartender here of this, he may not look upon it favourably.

We should keep this amongst ourselves.

ArcLite 01-19-2005 01:48 AM

perhaps I should delete it before he sees and I am shunned from the land?

It never existed...

Riva 01-19-2005 01:49 AM

Mods can see deleted posts unfortunately. But Bartender really is a little puppy underneath that grim, tr00 shroud of the Baphomet mod.

Oh, yes it did.

:glare:

ArcLite 01-19-2005 01:51 AM

What about edited....I didn't delete, just changed it. What? A new avatar?

Oh, oh....I've been busted.

(Hangs head in shame)

Riva 01-19-2005 01:54 AM

Street Fighter II rocked my socks back when my friend and I played it in primary school. :)

ArcLite 01-19-2005 01:56 AM

Only game I remember from back in the day is Super Mario 3. Man that game owned my life for a good while.

Riva 01-19-2005 02:00 AM

Haha, good clean oldskool gaming. Great times, what memories!

I think I should get my old Super Nintendo working again. And maybe my NES. :)

Bartender 01-19-2005 02:01 AM

I remember one of my sister's friends stole one of her NES games, ages ago. I was pissed off, as was she. It was a really good game, about robots or something. No one else has ever heard of it, though..

Going back even further, I remember my Commodore 64. That thing was awesome.

Riva 01-19-2005 02:03 AM

I wasn't rich enough to own a Commodore 64. A whopping 64K memory!

I remember playing Jade Quest or something on my school's computer. On the big 6" floppies.

ArcLite 01-19-2005 02:03 AM

Heh, I think I have mt NES somewhere too. I should dig it up. I'm trying to think what other games I had. I had one called Ninja Crusaders which was pretty cool and one horrid football game of an unrecalled name. I had many others but it's been so long. Good times.

Riva 01-19-2005 02:17 AM

Hey! You had Ninja Crusaders! That was the one with the first level that was in the warehouse, and you had to defeat that boss called "Tiny", which was deliciously ironic considering he was about 5 metres high. :)

ArcLite 01-19-2005 02:24 AM

Hahaha, man, I love remenissing of the good old days. You ever have N64? Goldeneye was the shit. Many hours were spent racing my buddies in Mariokart 64 also.

Bartender 01-19-2005 02:25 AM

I had an N64. Mostly for Goldeneye, and old wrestling games.
