Ben, did you send your disc?? Did you did you did you?
My mom said the post office wouldn't open today because of all the government run institutions being closed today, so I just took her word for it and am going to mail it tomorrow. |
I;m serious because I'm onnly 5'6 and I'm think a 10 pound 6er is going to be a bit much for me so i need a good strap. What straps do you guys use?
cheap ones. i've got 2 straps that i switch between all my instruments. one is a terribly generic nylon black strap that came with my Crate starter pack. The other one is a rainbow nylon strap. they serve me well enough, but mostly i just keep the black one on my telecaster and move the rainbow from bass to bass. |
If I knew what a Moody Strap was, maybe I could answer the question. :p
When the hell did YOU get a sense of humor?
:upset: I'm funny sometimes. |

I've just got a wide Levy's suede strap. It's fine for my 6'er, and I'm only an inch taller than you. |
My Joe Satriani strap I use on my Agile guitar is nice and comfortable.
It's a 3inch one with a really nice nylon. My Agile isn't 10lbs though.. |

Same height, I find my SR506 fairly light. I always just used one of those generic straps, made out of whatever material that is, it's pretty thin. But then I broke my strap, so I haven't had one for several months. I always play sitting down anyway. Though I have spent qutie a bit of time playing while standing up, which is why I know that I don't find it very heavy. |

What the hell does your height have to do with the weight of your bass? I am only three inches taller and I play a six string. Granted, it isn't all that heavy, but it comes down to how much you can support, and having a good 3" strap will definitely eliminate the feel of some of the weight. |
Yes.
:naughty:
I could definitely go for a back massage right now if you know what I mean. |
You can mail me another package. :D
I'll write you a letter of gratitude if you do. :)
So much work involved in mailing things! If I do decide to send you one for the hell of it, it probably wouldn't be until next month, and then you could think of it as a Christmas present... ...unless you are Jewish... ...or black for that matter if you celebrate Kwanzaa. :amaze: |
Enjoy the extra dollar with my blessings
Haha, will do. I'm not sure how much shipping is yet, though, so it might only be an extra $0.50. :p |

It's like a hug. From behind. With more friction. |

Oh, Ben, what would I do without you?

Hello.
Oh, Ben, what would I do without you?
Be sexually deprived? |
I mean... bingo. :D But seriously, I am.
Alright, then you can receive one for Hanukkah if that is what you celebrate. :p |
Be sexually deprived?
That and... I can't think of anything else. By the way, how did your paper come along? |
Just be cool/ghetto and make a super strong strap out of duct tape. I'm not sure how many rolls it would take to make a good one, but I think 3 is a safe number. It would probably be pretty damn strong.
