Someday it will be. :upset:
Same :upset:

I just got my school report back. Gee it sucks. I really need to change some classes.

leiferikson 03-29-2005 06:49 AM

Can I request a ban on any talk about Reading festival? With the punishment to be death by catapult.

I am not going thus far :upset: :upset:

(What a great band name, death by catapult. hmm)

Iai 03-29-2005 06:55 AM

I looked at the people complaining on the Reading forums, and found an awesome band name.

Killers Over Queens.

leiferikson 03-29-2005 07:01 AM

What were they complaining about?

/going to have a gander

Edit: Hang on, where are these Reading forums? Ha I get it, because The Killers are over QOTSA in the lineup :thumb:

I'd probably have to leave a few years before having a band name begin with "death". I already have 3 "death" bands on itunes.

Iai 03-29-2005 07:02 AM

The Killers being higher on the bill than QOTSA.

The thread was called "Killers over Queens?!?!?"

leiferikson 03-29-2005 07:09 AM

Yeah, Killers have released one album which can be summed up in one word - "meh". Whereas QOTSA are legends (compared to the killers anyway). I hope the Killers get bottled, but they wont. I dislike them

Iai 03-29-2005 07:15 AM

I just don't know how they can do a 50-minute set with one 35-minute long album under their belt.

Queens would fill that slot without any trouble.

leiferikson 03-29-2005 07:17 AM

Isn't the Darkness' album only like 29 minutes? And they were top headliners!! Lots of my doofus friends said I was crazy but I was sooo glad I went to see Graham Coxon instead

Iai 03-29-2005 07:26 AM

The Darkness previewed a lot of new material, and are lucky enough to have 3 or 4 pretty famous b-sides (Bareback, Street Spirit, How Dare They Call this Love). Their album is about 45 minutes. Oh, and there's the Christmas song they did.

They did talk a lot between songs, but that's okay, because Justin Hawkins has a lot of charisma.

leiferikson 03-29-2005 07:30 AM

Ok. I just remembered my brother lives in Leeds. Leeds still has weekend tickets. I could get weekend tickets. For Leeds. This idea might just be crazy enough to work!

Iai 03-29-2005 07:35 AM

I would.

leiferikson 03-29-2005 07:42 AM

It just seems silly that I'd be going to Leeds to go to the Reading Festival when I live in Reading. Oh woe betide

leiferikson 03-29-2005 07:48 AM

Iai you live in Luton don't you? Thats closer to Leeds than I am. Why dont you give me your ticket?

If I meet anyone who lives further north than Watford with Reading tickets I'm going to punch them in the neck

/starting to sound desperate

Well I ****ing am desperate!

Iai 03-29-2005 08:13 AM

It's not closer to Leeds than you are, at all.

Are you getting confused with the Luton near Derby?

Edit: Wait.....I thought Reading was on the way to Leeds from where I was? In any case, it takes me 3 hours to get to Leeds from where I am, and only 1 hour to get to Reading, so I ain't swapping.

leiferikson 03-29-2005 08:17 AM

It is closer! I just looked on multimap. Your Luton is 167 miles from Leeds whereas Reading is 219 miles from Leeds. Unless you live in Luton, Devon

Iai 03-29-2005 08:17 AM

Yeah, I just checked on the AA site.

I could have sworn that I went through Reading when I went to Leeds a couple years back.

leiferikson 03-29-2005 08:35 AM

You must be confused with some other shit-hole. Or you were extremely lost

Griffith 03-29-2005 09:30 AM

Right, so I haven't visited in a long while.

So my avatar goes haywire?

Iai 03-29-2005 09:31 AM

The site had a major database corruption issue a while back. That happened to everybody.

You need to either change it, or re-upload the same image.

QOTSA are really great live.

vallely2004 03-29-2005 12:35 PM

Talking of QOTSA being good live, I queued for 3 hours this morning to get my Reading Ticket. One of the last 20 to be sold in Portsmouth and probabaly the whole country officially! There 4 people before though that had been camping out all night!

Iai 03-29-2005 12:37 PM

Good game, vallely. :)
