The old stuffs better than the new. The bands people think are new are old eg. metallica G 'n' R
Im 14 and listen to clapton, he started in the 60s thats about 44 yrs thats about 40 yrs older than me. I'm from liverpool so i came across the beatles easily then queen then they got older nirvana the smiths an that first. The the bluesbreakers and cream, i dare anyone to listen to clapton an say hes bad, you can't, unless you have no taste. Im a tennager and my friends are and a few like music alot older than them and im in to all rock but older stuff sticks out, i think its because rockers are getting lazy, i dont know but the beatles, cream, zeppelin, AC DC, nirvana, Van halen all of them are amazing and inspired generations of rockers and your only a legend after so many years so older music is the best :D

Why? WHY DONT THEY READ? DO THEY AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT WE HAVE 5 OR 6 PAGES?? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

I advise you to read. Because there is a lot.

I wanted to see The Wall in Berlin... it's at costco...

BludgeonySteve 10-05-2004 04:24 PM

Well said. Classic rock's making a comeback because... most rock bands these days just aren't as good. There's a strong blues, country, metal, rap... whatever, sceen. But the rockers these days will turn to the classics.

gmoneyguy 10-05-2004 05:04 PM

Funnt how he throws in nirvana in his classic rock list.

Broken Arrow 10-05-2004 05:07 PM

I've been thinking about getting that also. It sounds so cool. But I am suspicious of how good it could be minus Gilmour.

Oh why can't they just be friends again? If only to stop the recent tripe that is desecrating the Pink Floyd name.

Most bands thta break up, broke up for that reason. The Beatles for one, were like that.

Woodstock 10-05-2004 05:18 PM

Who or what do you think broke up the Beatles, Yoko or different ways?

Broken Arrow 10-05-2004 05:20 PM

The Chat is really quite.

The Beatles broke up because John wanted a solo career before he died????

Woodstock 10-05-2004 05:21 PM

<------For celebration

They claim they broke up for following different lifestyles and musical tastes.

gmoneyguy 10-05-2004 05:24 PM

I think it was the musical tastes, because they had many arguements on how they thought the band should go. Let It Be recording are a good example. I think yoko was the straw that broke the horses back.

Badmoon 10-05-2004 05:26 PM
Funnt how he throws in nirvana in his classic rock list.
Well surprisingly, back in the 60's there was a very little known Psychedelic band that went by the same name. But I'm sure he doesn't know about them, and isn't refering to them.

gmoneyguy 10-05-2004 05:27 PM

We can always count on badmoon for the trivia. The doesnt really surprise me though.

Broken Arrow 10-05-2004 05:30 PM

I could take Badmoon to school on trivia!

Badmoon 10-05-2004 05:36 PM
