I downloaded Ableton. This is pretty cool although I mostly have no idea how it works.

i have ableton, it takes a little getting used to but it's a pretty solid program

Pretty much all I've used before is fruityloops and that's like lincoln logs to this erector set

ableton is ****ing awesome for sequencing

such a streamlined and effective interface

It does seem really intuitive for all the neat things it can do. It's really easy to manipulate a break beat with this thing.

Beirut

because they are all coming here in the next few months and I want to decide which ones to go to. I like all the bands a lot, Beirut are probably my favourite and I will def see them.

I've seen Beirut and Explosions and both were good. They're both artists that I don't listen to that much on record, but the live shows were surprisingly awesome. Beirut in particular.

I really hope I can go see Beirut. I really like that song Postcards From Italy.

i did something pretty weird ive never done last night for a couple hours but it was pretty fun. i was driving around listening to music (i cant play my ipod in this rental car and the only cd i have in it is [I]Lonesome Crowded West[/I] so i've definitely been digging that, especially Doin the Cockroach & Cowboy Dan) because i had nothing to really do in these few evening hours. but if i went home i felt like it would then be weird to just pop out again as soon as a friend called, because that's what i was waiting on. so i would drive to certain places, then get out of the car and like run around the block or through a trail and around somewhere and back to the car, then get back in listen to more drive around then stop somewhere else and repeat. they were like 1/2 - 1 mile runs each time so not too strenuous but it felt good and im really bored right now this is such a boring story why would anybody be interested in this? i cant wait for my thanksgiving feast

Yeah it's crap. Same with Mark Kozelek at the Oran Mor (18+ yet Animal Collective played there and it was a 14+).

And yeah, I'm going to EITS and Eluvium. I'm excited about that because I hear EITS are amazing live and I love Eluvium.

Explosions in the Sky live would be epic.
