Win A Rabbit 11-01-2005 08:13 PM

well i painted my snare drum. i went with black and white candy-cane style stripes. measuring, taping, and the first 2 coats of paint took a total of an hour and a half. a few more coats and it'll be done.

anyways, here's me in my halloween costume. enjoy.

What do you guys generally think of 12" splashes?
I've heard people say they are too big. I just got me a 12" AAX splash and I like it. Anyone else had experience with this cymbal?

i like em, i had a chance to play on a kit with a 12 inch splash and it was pretty wicked. iuno, its just that when the splashes are so small they bug the crap outta me.

boss 11-01-2005 09:57 PM

anyone else in here live in toronto or am i the only one?

Aaron 11-01-2005 10:02 PM

i own a 12" splash (an 'uhan) and i love it, fills that subtle void between splash and crash perfectly

Had to get a post on page 420. :)

rockindrummer 11-01-2005 11:43 PM

My halloween ended up being ok last night. I went to my guitarists house for his birthday for an hour then met up with my other friends at around 8ish. We lite off some fireworks then went out and lite off a bunch of bottle rockets, roman candles, crackeling bombs, all that stuff. Then we were at this pretty main park and then an undercover cop rolls up with the huge search light on so we all ran in different directions, as one of my friends had his paint ball gun with him, and a crap load of fireworks, and we all also had a crap load of fireworks. So that was quite an exciting part of the night, and after that died down I just headed back home got some candy and went to sleep.

puppet.master 11-01-2005 11:45 PM
