Blah, I nobody on this board has a taste for modern death metal, that's all. I've just been so exposed to it from shows my bands have played that it's grown on me.

Bands of the sort usually put on an extremely good live show.

I have a taste for modern hardcore influenced DM too (you know this), but I think you're going a bit overboard.

I like some of it, but for the most part none of those bands can keep my interest for longer than a listen.

I don't see how we sound at all like Suicide Silence, but okay.

The new songs Ross wrote sound kind of like a mix of Garden Of Shadows and Job For A Cowboy. It's a lot less Suffocation worshipy.

And the one song has a lot of tech parts and dissonant parts.

Well you do so just accept it. The first part of your song is pretty weak and unoriginal, but around 1:18 it gets better and I can hear the "Suffocation-ish-ness" you speak of.

Your drummer does have some quick feet yo. Our bands shall battle once I find a drummer.

you guys are alright...you need to improve the range on your lows, towards the end they get grating. The riffs are solid but the song is too short, using refrains tastefully in a way that makes sense isn't a bad thing.

i expected to hate this but it's really not bad. i'm not much for the high scream vox, but as a whole that song was pretty cool. the drummer is a beast.

and i checked out some Evil Incarnate a couple days ago, they are great.

As a whole my vocal performance on that song isn't that good... you can hear how strained my voice was at the time when my voice cracks from doing MID RANGE screams. :lol:

Keep in mine that Ross and Nazim were 15 when they wrote those songs, and their vocalist was some random kid who got on stage and started screaming at one of their shows.
