Making my way through Candlemass' Nightfall right now. First time I ever heard it. These guys don't disappoint....ever. Do they? Is there any Candlemass album that mostly sucks?

Oh, c'mon now, playa. You're not serious, is ya? I'm spinnin' that one above all others. Absolutely love the most recent release. Actually, and undeniably, that recording has more melody than everything preceding it. And, the riffs are pretty much on par with their best stuff. By best I'd be comparing it only to Nightfall, Tales of Creation and Ancient Dreams. Don't know any others. I think I'll be going for the self-titled one next...But, love me that new Candlemass album. I'm gunna listen to them all again, but I really think I might be favoring the Grey Islands. Love me that vocalist from Solitude A. And that probably factors in.

at first it seemed exceptionally gay but I dunno somehow the riffs gelled with me in the end. pretty tight

witchfinder general is as straight as you can get

the vocals kind of sounded odd to me at first but then i realized how awesome they were. i only have Death Penalty but im getting their other stuff soon
