Deceased are pretty cool, for Death/thrash I prefer Deathchain's Deathrash Assault though.
|
I've never listened to them. I'll check them out sometime soon.
|
Do for sure, you shall not regret it. Just don't get anything but that album.
|
lol I was testing out my new ipod and Ribspreader came on and nearly blew my ears out because for some reason that album's native volume is much louder than my other music.
|
I'm d/l'ing right now.
I love the internet. Edit @ Luc: My buddy had that happen to him last week lol. |

That shit is annoying dude. I put my iPod on volume leveler or whatever they call it and a song came on and it was quiet as hell. The next song sounded good and loud. Gay! |
yeah every song should be the same volume
|
The volume leveling works pretty good on my little 1 gig mp3 player.
I have had that happen though; it's annoying as fuck. |

It's a wonder how technology works...
|
Not really, files have different volumes, it has nothing to do with the Ipod...
|

Yea, but the volume leveling features are supposed to work to correct that, lol. Anyway, mine does just fine. Cheaper mp3 players ftw. |

$50 ftw.
|
$50 ftw.
What kind is it? |
Creative Mediasource.
It's only a gig, but it works great... |

^I think it's coming, we're starting to see solid state hard drives slowly increase in size and decrease in price.

That deserves a Crap Yeah. |
Oh btw I fixed the Ribspreader problem, turns out the idiot that ripped the album I downloaded had set the volume settings at +100% gain.
|
I was listening to a foreign objects cd my friend downloaded for me and he set the volume leveling to max and my ears were blasted when the first song kicked in. I don't usually ever get angry but when that happened I was seriously pissed lol

I ****ing hate when people do that. |
I like 100% gain :/
|
well that's because you don't know **** about equal loudness contours.
|
Well wait, does this count for the volume adjustment settings for itunes or is this something completely different.
I'm a noob at anythingthing musically related aside from plugging in a microphone and yell into it overtop of my friends playing mediocre deathcore. |
Well wait, does this count for the volume adjustment settings for itunes or is this something completely different.
Yeah I checked the volume adjustment in itunes, and instead of being in the middle (IE no artificial volume gain) the slider had been set to plus 100%. |
Ribspreader is pretty awesome.

For the record the volume leveler thing on my new iPod doesn't work for crap. It makes the music go back and forth between really loud and really soft. Gay! I'm better off just leaving it be. |
Why don't you guys just get well ripped music? I've never had that problem.
The leveler is stupid as hell on the iPod. It makes it so you can't turn it up very loud at all. |

Do any of you guys use the sound enhancer feature in iTunes? I've been listening to music with it on 100% for about a week now and I like it much better.
|
Yeah, it's pretty awesome.
|
How do you use it?
|
Edit - Preferences - Playback
|
Edit - Preferences - Playback
I'll have to try that. Of course I usually use my iPod instead of my computer. I can hook that up to my surround sound easier. |
What does this sound enhancer do?
|
Enhances sound, but don't quote me on that.
|
Profound
What does this sound enhancer do?
I think it may add some harmonics onto the bass notes, so the listener is fooled into thinking that their stereo system is pumping out more bass than it really is. Among other things, I've read that it messes with the phase of some of the higher notes to increase the stereo image. |
