I just got back, and it was fantastic, if quite depressing. The guy they got to play Peter Hook was fantastic.

It was good.

I'd check it out, but I don't think any cinemas in my city are showing it.

They've stopped showing it here since it came out a few months ago.

Oh man I was supposed to be going to see KRS One, Luniz, Rass Kas, The Alkaholiks & JME & Skepta last night. Went down to the nightclub venue they were all playing at and the doorman said that KRS, Luniz, Rass Kass & The Alkaholiks were no longer allowed to play because they were also supporting G Unit who were playing in a building next door. Apparently the police stopped both gigs because G Unit is associated with gun crime so they stopped all the US artists playing that night.

Whether thats BS I dunno but I was proper annoyed. Ended up getting a refund at the door. :(

UK. I'd travelled 150 miles back to my mum's house and then another 80 miles to my friend's house in Southampton where the gig was taking place only to find it was cancelled. I was so annoyed.

I've never heard of that happening either but it seemed legit cos there were a few police cars outside the venue when we arrived talking to some of the promoters. It was the venue's first hip hop gig as well so that's not going to help matters.

Avey Tare should ****ing take better care of himself, he was sick the time I saw them as well so they played for 25 minutes and left. Then Panda Bear came out and played something for 5 minutes that was boring as **** and then left. Thanks for wasting my $40 Animal Collective. Boo Animal Collective.

$40? Damn. I paid like...$14? They played for so long when I saw them. It was at least 90 minutes. And they played a ton of really good songs. It was one of the loudest shows ever though, which I didn't expect at all. Still, it was sweet.

I would pay lots of money to see Animal Collective live.

I saw Animal Collective for $15. They were good. Openers were bad, but they were good. I reckon they charge so much down under on account of traveling expenses. Gotta recoup and all.
