Hello Maiden fans, What is your favorite maiden instrumental? Mine would have to be Genghis Khan.
Losfer Words is where it's at...

Lord Abortion 10-15-2005 01:32 PM
Probably RiR because of SOTC, BNW and Blood Brothers...beautiful songs...
Yeah, BNW is one of the most shiver inducing maiden songs there is.
Hello Maiden fans, What is your favorite maiden instrumental? Mine would have to be Genghis Khan.
Transylvania

classicrockman 10-15-2005 03:55 PM

Transylvania would have to be my favorite Maiden instrumental as well. :)

crag 10-15-2005 04:18 PM

probs transylvania

mx is confusing now:upset:

clairvoyant 10-15-2005 04:52 PM

Hmm most likely Transylvania.

crag 10-15-2005 04:59 PM

heh, i just listened to that bit at the beginning of Still Life backwards:) i still can't work out what nicko says though, anyone know?

GenuineImitation 10-15-2005 05:01 PM

I would have to go with Transylvania.

the_uber_penguin 10-15-2005 08:20 PM
i suppose we could do that but it was Ubers idea to start Mxaiden so we should porbably consult him first.
Go for it.

If anyone sends me a guitar part or bass part I'll add my vocal to it. I'm not sure who's drumming atm, but using the HBTN drum track seems like a good idea. I just can't sing in key without an instrument for reference, if you know what I mean.

Jackson_Guitarist 10-15-2005 08:25 PM

I think Transylvania is overrated.

the_uber_penguin 10-15-2005 08:25 PM
heh, i just listened to that bit at the beginning of Still Life backwards:) i still can't work out what nicko says though, anyone know?
Apparently its

"What ho sed de t'ing wid de t'ree bonce. Don't meddle wid t'ings you don't understand."

or "Listen, said the thing with three heads. Don't mess with things you don't understand." Nicko says its his Idi Amin impresssion.

Apparently there's a backwards message on TMTM as well: "HA-HA bet none of you find this. Why on Earth are you listening to Iron Maiden? They Suck!"

Joe 10-15-2005 08:27 PM

Which songs are these again? I'll try it later.

the_uber_penguin 10-15-2005 08:48 PM

Still Life and Two Minutes To Midnight

Poofy 666 10-15-2005 09:37 PM

subliminal messges are the best :chug:

smart blockhead 10-15-2005 10:14 PM

Genghis Kahn is the best instrumental.

Ok, next "Best". What do you guys think is the best installment of the Charlotte the Harlot saga? There's Charlotte the Harlot, 22 Acacia Avenue, and uhh that other one! I say Charlotte the Harlot.

-The Frank 10-15-2005 11:20 PM
No, I downloaded it. I'd go buy it if I liked it, but the Production is all screwy. Janick is terrible, Dave isn't that great and you can't even hear H. I hope the DVD's better.
last time i said i was going to download a album in here, i got flamed as fu
:upset: :upset:

anyway

favorite instrumental:transylvania

subliminal iron maiden message: on the "Powerslave" album on the song "Back in the Village". Listen to the part when they say "sixes all the way". If you have good hearing then in the background theirs someone else saying "six six six". - taken from some dude on the eggs site

not really subliminal but still "cool"

smart blockhead 10-15-2005 11:21 PM

Lord Abortion 10-16-2005 09:30 AM

I knew the Idi Amin one...not the TMTM one...

Joe 10-16-2005 09:31 AM
heh, cool

Does anyone know where it is? I'll probably just put it into my recording program and reverse. Is it really noticeable? I'll find out later.

And "From Here To Eternity"

Josh 10-16-2005 12:01 PM

i was going to say From Here to Eternity was the 4th one. it's probably my favourite, but Charlotte the Harlot is just so great as well, i love the intro. not quite so fond of the others though.

smart blockhead 10-16-2005 12:29 PM

I downloaded all the Iron Maiden I've bought before I bought them. There's no point in buying something that you don't know the quality of.

crag 10-16-2005 01:56 PM
I downloaded all the Iron Maiden I've bought before I bought them. There's no point in buying something that you don't know the quality of.
Metallion#666 10-16-2005 02:24 PM
