Some kind of walnut?

A nice, figured walnut top sure is sexy.
Hmm, yeah. Walnut is definitely a possibility.

The Brad 11-13-2006 05:31 PM

It's almost as if I've "made" it.
It's being built by Chris Stambaugh, and it would look fairly similar to this:

That's really unbelievable hot.
Anybody ever heard of the band Downface? It almost sounds like MJK (Tool) and Gavin Rossdale (Bush) are the vocals.

Especially in the song "Lies."

I enjoyed them. Pretty good music. I can see the MJK/Gavin connection.

Edit: i just listened to 316live. Holy cow he sounds alot like Scott Stapp. Yuck.

What's that top?
I never said I don't like the aesthetics of single-cuts, I just want more room to anchor my thumb.

Maple burl, with a touch of flame.

Thonk 11-13-2006 05:36 PM

Maple burl, I think.

The Brad 11-13-2006 05:43 PM

Anyone in need of some art?

I know. I'm curious if maybe it was a side project. There's really no information on them anywhere, yet they have albums for sale on Amazon.
That's like 12%.
12.5% actually.

I don't think it's actually them. The voice sounds very familiar, but yet you can tell it's not his voice.

I'm always up for any type of art.

The Brad 11-13-2006 05:53 PM

I think I am going to take a nap, read the rest of the drama, then maybe I will make some art.
In my absence, enjoy this music: http://www.swedishdeathpolka.com/

Thonk 11-13-2006 05:57 PM

Does he live with his parents?

One Groovin Clown 11-13-2006 05:58 PM

Yea :p

I know I can just go over there and get it. I just felt like complaining :upset:

Thonk 11-13-2006 05:59 PM

Ah, well then go get it. :p

I'm out.

Spaceman Spiff 11-13-2006 06:01 PM

I'm starved. I need me some dinner. I hope it's delicious, whatever it may be.

One Groovin Clown 11-13-2006 06:02 PM

Do you have any pets?

Spaceman Spiff 11-13-2006 06:06 PM
Do you have any pets?
A dog. A bird. Approximately 50 reptiles: snakes, geckos, and monitors. Lots of rats and mice that are food for the reptiles.

But no worries! Not only will dinner be ready in a couple of minutes, it consists of ham, potatoes, and salad. :D

I bet your ham is a Snake ham. With rat stuffing served with some Chinese food.

Spaceman Spiff 11-13-2006 06:14 PM

I only have one snake that's big enough to make a ham out of. It's about 8-10 feet long and probably around 10-15 inches around.

pukeboy66 11-13-2006 06:15 PM

Spiff, you must have one big *** house.

Left Shoe 11-13-2006 06:16 PM

thats a meal and a half

Spaceman Spiff 11-13-2006 06:18 PM
Spiff, you must have one big *** house.
Not really. All the reptiles are confined to tanks in the basement. The reason the number is so high is because when snakes breed, they can have up to around 30 babies.

Same goes for the rats and mice, groupings of them are in the boiler room (they stink and no one goes in there) in cages. They breed and get fed to reptiles.
