Wow, this funk rock band asked me to join on drums. Check out the mp3 the singer made, its awesome.

http://www.futureproaudio.com/weekend.mp3
That's pretty good, though it sounds like they have a drummer already. Are you going to join?
Laughing at your brother's shaving cream, Dancin' Man.
I did too. Apparently after the laughing he explained that he had somehow caught his leg on the shower door. I think he's lying though because there isn't anything sharp, besides the pane of glass with rounded edges.

Also, my dad is letting me use his car.

What is a good movie I should rent?
My Brother's Complete Lack of Shaving Talent
Why is he even shaving?

He looks like he's about 12...

Anyway, oh my god y'all, it's b-e-a-utiful in Boston...it's like, 75 degrees out...I spent most of the late morning and early afternoon playing three-on-three basketball, me and two friends vs. three complete strangers.

Also, the Red Sox are beating the Yankees 14-0 in Yankee Stadium.

As Ice Cube once put it, "I got to say, it was a good day"

Dancin' Man 05-28-2005 02:16 PM

^So he doesn't look like a Mexican.

Also Boston must be the happiest place in the world right now. Yankees are suffering their worst home loss to the Red Sox since the 30's

ATM 05-28-2005 02:25 PM

/is listening to the new Audio Slave

/likes it so far

/is only on track one

Illmatic 05-28-2005 02:25 PM

I wouldn't go that far. After all, the Sox are still only 25-22 and are behind the Yankees. Of course, the Red Sox just won the World Series six months ago...now we just enter a ten-year grace period where we don't even care what happens. Also, there's still the Pats.

In Red Sox-related news, Byung-Hun Kim fell to 0-4 today for the Rockies, giving up five runs in five innings to the Cubs. God does that guy suck...I can't believe the Sox actually got a live body for him.
So he doesn't look like a Mexican.
Huh?

Ray, I caught the link you posted a few pages back.

Good stuff.

Illmatic 05-28-2005 02:38 PM

Glad to see someone checked it out.

I'm just mentioning a statistic.

Mexican's have those ugly thin little mustaches that teenage white boys get as well. The thing is, ours only grow that way for a few years. God I hate teenage facial hair. It's so pathetic. Especially when like 3 of my friends who are younger than me have full beards.

Illmatic 05-28-2005 02:45 PM

Ohhhh...I get it.

/rocked a porn star moustache for like, a week this year

It was pretty sweet...I had a 'fro and even grew out the sideburns for a little bit. I looked like Shaft.

ATM 05-28-2005 02:54 PM

I've got a beard and sideburns.

Shaft = #1 action hero ever.

Come on people, I need a movie to watch with a girl. That means no action movies. Everything else is game though. I also doubt she'd appreciate the Big Lebowski.

lunch998 05-28-2005 03:35 PM

My friend is doing it this summer, but it's so boring I'm not sure if it was worth it. Also he's only making 8$, not 9.60$.

Everyone watch out for the Metallica song that is going to be posted here in a few days. Here is the lineup, in case you didn't know.

Bass - Metal_Head_617
Lead Guitars - R. Blythe
Drums - Sliptallica
Rhythm Guitars/Vocals - Chu

We are going to start off with "Seek and Destroy", but we are going to hopefully do harder songs after that. We figured that this was a good way to start off. Wish us luck.

Kage 05-28-2005 03:43 PM

I hate that song, but it's actually addicting to play on guitar.

The Shawshank Redemption
Office Space
Animal House...

Uh...I dunno. It depends on the girl, really.

I never thought of it as addicting, but that is a good way to put it.

Kage 05-28-2005 04:12 PM

The chugging parts aren't that great, but the very beginning on guitar is fun. And the solo is fun as well, though pretty easy. Also, the prechorus and transition into the chorus are fun riffs.

I think the chugging parts at the end are actually the most fun. It fun to play simple riffs and headbang your *** off every once in a while.

I recommend Garden State.

Kage 05-28-2005 04:47 PM

That's a good one.

Jom 05-28-2005 04:50 PM

Garden State is a good movie, yes. I didn't like how everyone at my uni was creaming themselves over it because "OMG DIS MOVIE SPOKE 2 ME." I mean, yeah, it was a great movie... but it didn't parallel my life in any way.

I should be so lucky, though.

Meet the Parents/Meet the Fockers would be another healthy choice, I'd say.

ATM 05-28-2005 05:35 PM

I've been contacting bands through various ads I found on Craigs List.

I just sent an email to a jam band looking for a lead guitarist.

I wish you the best of luck, I will have to post up a copy of my band playing it sometime!

Are you going for all real instruments, or are parts midi?
