Perhaps the 5 unfinished songs that we have shall suffice for now?
But yes, The Patient was talked about quite frequently at one point about being covered, so, there. EDIT: For whoever was asking for The JoZ's band's webpage: This may work Have fun! |
lateralus, 46 n 2 ticks n leeches sobre and stink fist? alright i guess
|
patient is CRAZZY drum wise it may not seem like it but the rythms he does amaze me near the end!
|
tis teh sexiest tool song, vocals make my hairs on back of the neck raise up
|
what the hell? aenima stops like 5 minuets through for me??
|
I almost got it DLed. It's at 96%. I'll let you know if my freaks out as well.
How d'you think it turned out? |
Sorry I haven't been around here in awhile. Been on semi-vacation this past week.
I guess we're rolling on the covers, then? |
Holy Hell! Long time no see Kage. :p
Yup, those are almost all of the songs. I am missing Part of Me because I couldn't find it, but other than that, those are all of em. EDIT: Rob when you see this, nice work on Ænema. The one thing that you really should work on is your tone. The chorus is wicked though. I'm jammin' along right now imagining how Moses is gonna pull off the vox. :thumb: Noice work. |

How d'you think it turned out?
playing wise it was good, but the tone of the bass in some parts sounded...odd, not bad, just odd, kinda like he was micing an acoustic(i know thats not the case). im pretty good at doing the power triplets danny carey does in aenima so i could probably do that song.....maybe. *gasp* 1111 *gasp* i have reached my number. know i will make a new account called faith+2 and i will have to hit 2222......JK that would be gay of me :D |

Could someone tell me how many toms are needed to play lateralus?
|
Well, Moses is supposed to do them, but I've not seen much progress, so if you wanna take a whack at one of the songs, be my guest. :D
About the post above me-None. you just need one Danny Carey. lolz |
Hey Kage did you grab that Holy Gift mp3 that AJIG posted awhile ago?
I need it again... It got erased, so if you do, and if you could upload it, I'll like love you. I know... It's lame, but that "I'll love you" is all I could think of :p |
Yes, let me dig it up.
@Jake: yuk yuk. |
Could someone tell me how many toms are needed to play lateralus?
able to be improved on 2(meh) can easily be played on three(what i do) and if you have two floors you can do it perfect. im poor so i made an awsome way to play it on three toms. if i had a 18 inch floor tom the fill he does in between "SPIRAL OUT" duh duh duh duh "KEEP GOING" would sound much cleaner. on my recording i wonder if its possible to add some reverb and "up" the bass so you can hear the kickdrum more?? and if we could find a way to reduce those dam'n loud hi-hats it would sound a lot better too. |
yesh hi hats were to loud. ive got 2 toms and a floor tom, I just cant get it to sound right. o well
|
Let Ben know what you want done to make it sound better, and I'm sure he'll be able to figure out a more suitable eq. I've not heard it, so don't take what I'm saying as what I think should be done, I'm just going off of what you're saying. He could probably boost the bass. that would be easy. And maybe if he dropped the treble that would cure this loud hi hat.
|

Sorry for taking so long to post this, but it seems I have lost the file. I tried to tell you this about an hour ago, but I couldn't access the forums for awhile, as happens all too frequently. I don't know what happened, the file seems to have mysterioulsy disappeared. |
It's alright.
I can probably give it to someone else. Thanks for the effort though, I appreciate it. |
ok, i havent been keeping up with threads the last month or so, just came on and found the whole cover comp thing, i have a Drop6 guitar in my hands as we speak (ie a 6 string at open B), to play Parabola if someone wanted, (i have like 3 weeks to get it down after june 30th), thanks to the deadline extension on the comp, so if u REALLY wanted to do it, then i could hammer it out, or i could do some guitar work on Lateralus (i noticed somewhere u mentioned that u needed a guitarist for it)... anything needed just PM, ill be keeping up with this forum for the next few months so i dont miss anything...
cheers |
Faith, I'm loving your lateralus recording.. Awesome playing
