I feel bad for the 7th graders though. Their grade on that test sort of determines where their life goes (It's one of the major factors that determines which high schools they get into).

I did that twice with two different Garfield books and came out with a fond hatred of Jim Davis and Garfield.

I like Garfield.

My favorites are Calvin & Hobbes and Dilbert.

We're considering getting someone to just play a bass drum to keep the all-bass theme going, or just having one person play percussive slap to keep time.

Yeah, it all depends, there's myself with a year or so of experience, a friend who's been playing 3 years, and two who don't even have instruments, so we're either making them both bassists or one a bassist and one a drummer.

I suppose I got lucky because it rarely has a negative effect on people...on the downside, I don't get grotesque pictures or stories of deformaties or deaths, which is sorta part of the assignment.
