I say keep the Trad thread, keep the Stoner thread, and leave Inprop's thread as the Doom thread. That way people can discuss any bands that are slightly doom, such as like Sins Of Thy Beloved or something.

We are discussing it here because a couple of older Doom threads got bumped recently, resulting in three Doom threads floating around.

In addition to what Raids is saying:

I see no need for three doom threads.
The one on traditional doom can function seperately from the 'general' doom thread. but having to'general' doom threads is a bit ridicilous.
There is one thread with about800 posts, and the other has 200.
It's up to the mods to decide what you want to do with this, but I thought I'd mention it, as it is confusing and not addidng to the functionality.

I think the solution is this:

Use 'Let's Discuss Doom Metal' for funeral doom, drone, and any other subgenre you can think of.
Use 'Traditional Doom' for straight up doom metal.
