ok. NOW this is the last time I'm sending it out. It's the new Dragonforce video.
Oh really? Thats great. Thanks a lot.

Steerpike 01-16-2006 07:03 PM
Woot. Thanks much mate. :thumb:

I want to shoot a good portion of the girls in my high school...stupid spoiled rich Jews.
Oh, you mean like the people who come from money and think they're hot shit because of it?

Shattered_Future 01-16-2006 07:04 PM

Na, most aren't like that...(I don't think).

They're more like self centered, bitchy people, who first guess people and never bother to get to know anyone cept each other.

I think more than half of my school wears Von Dutch...it sucks, but it gives you something to look at. :naughty:

My school is like that. I enjoy looking at the girls, but they are all bitches who are mentally incompetent and rude.

Pretty much.

My bassist/friend has a twin sister who has quite a few friends...

Even though I strongly disagree with their music tastes, they're a great bunch of people to talk to about stuff. When I do, anyway (which isn't that much :p).

Ah.

What I don't get is why some people, women in particular, go to extremes to call attention to themselves, then get exasperated when it works. Greg Giaraldo did an interesting stand-up on that.

"Lady! You have glittery shit on your tits. What, were you trying to divert attention? Because I think that might be a little ineffective."

GenuineImitation 01-16-2006 07:11 PM

Mike did you have your midterms yet?

It's true though...they wear their pants extremely low, tight cut shirts, whatnot, yet get mad if people stare at them too long.

Midterms for me are next week.

i am the robots 01-16-2006 07:16 PM

Hahaha, yes, the womens shouldn't dress like whores if they don't want to be thought of as whores.

As for midterms, next week for me too :(.

Same thing for me, but many of my teachers are going easy on us since we are seniors. I only have Pre Calc, Spanish and College Forensics. I don't have History, English or Theory of Knowledge (A course on Ethics, Arts, Philosophy and Politics). The great thing is if I dont have a midterm, I dont have school. Pre-Calc and Spanish are Friday and Forensics is Monday. I then have a week off.

Girls shouldnt dress that way if they are going to get mad at guys for looking.

Shattered_Future 01-16-2006 07:19 PM

I dunno, though, I'm not complaining about how they dress. Just their attitudes piss me off.

My chem midterm is gonna murder me...my class is the greatest class ever, but chem is near impossible.

gillygan 01-16-2006 07:19 PM

I think if a girl looks good but is all snobby shes unnatractive.

Chem brings back bad memories. Physics was a little easier, but I had a teacher who had a thick German accent. So we had to translate what she was saying before we could understand the physics.

I may be going to the Dream Theater concert at Radio City Music Hall. They will be filming their new DVD at that concert.

Shattered_Future 01-16-2006 07:23 PM

Amen. I mean, I'd bang a good portion of my school, but only for a day.

GenuineImitation, good luck with DT. :thumb:

I've said it many times before, chem is the greatest place to learn anything BUT chem.
I think if a girl looks good but is all snobby shes unnatractive.
I sign this petition.

I would rather go out with a plain-ish girl who is not impeccably annoying instead of a supermodel who would treat me like a sack of shit 'boytoy'. I also cannot stand women who try too hard to be funny, they don't know when to give it a rest. I understand the same can be said about some guys...but I can't stand them either.

Ticketmaster just confirmed the tickets. After missing Gigantour, I am going to see them play for 2 hours. \m/

I support custom>standard's statment.

Beautiful.

Gigantour had the best set I've ever heard from a band, but my gripe with them is they don't do much to suck the crowd in. I never really felt like I was a part of the music.

That being said, it's still mindblowing to hear them pull of some of the stuff they do live. Should be a hell of a show.

Speaking of shows...less than 2 days until Sonata Arctica.

I wish I was going to that, but my parents felt it was too close to Midterms.

The DT is on April first. I hope they don't trick us by pretending to cncel the show or something. I would have a heart attack if they did that.

2 straight hours of DT. \m/

Oh, lucky! I'd die to see them, assuming I was alive at the show.

Technically you would die after the show because you would have to see them to die. Unless you died after they walked on stage.

That is correct. The North shore is full of rich snobs (trust me, I live there), but the south shore is primarily down to earth people.

i am the robots 01-16-2006 07:31 PM

Speaking of Sonata Artica me and my friends spent like 3 hours watching live videos of them... so good.

oh and http://petebeck.typepad.com/petebeckcom/images/fathoelderlycentre.jpg

AMAZING
You're still young yet. The people that swim in girls at your age tend to be pretty spoiled people. I can tell that your desire for emotional connections will make you into the perfect guy for some lucky girl somewhere. I feel like if you're "out of luck" in high school it teaches you a weird sort of self-reliance and consequent decency and affability, which then comes across in the new relationships you forge later. I'm glad I never had a girlfriend before this, now, because this is just so great and fulfilling. It'll be the same for you, I expect, and for Ollie as well. :)
Another thing that inadvertantly rubs me the wrong way :-\

I think I get it now.

If you want, come to the Sonata Arctica thread sometime between...well, I'm not sure, but I'm gonna attempt to take pics and post them here.

Turns out Into Eternity isn't playing there anymore though...that would've made the show even better.

Into Eternity probably would've complemented a Sonata Arctica show very well. They are playing on the 20th in Worcester, Mass., which is really the closest venue to me when I'm at school. I didn't get the notice soon enough, though. :(

I'll definitely drop by to see those pics, thanks!

They arent playing on the tour at all bud. Sorry to break it to you.

Moses 01-16-2006 07:46 PM

Someone should bump my Into Eternity thread. Someone already did that for my Pain of Salvation thread.
