What grade are you?

Six at the moment, i passed my Grade 5 with 110/150 (pass mark 100). So i wasn't as pleased with that as i could have been, but at least i passed.

And i passed my Grade 5 theory exam with 86/100 which i was very pleased with. 4 marks off distinction.

I passed grade 5 practical with 101 (1 mark over pass mark) :cool:

and grade 5 theory with 66 (pass mark exactly) :cool:

I like ot live life on the edge..

I know someone who gets distinctions with every exam she takes.
I don't like her (well, i do), because she can play Michael Nyman - The Promise (The Piano Soundtrack) better than me. Ha.

Meh i should really do grade 8, but ti's got to the stage where my teacher is like, well it's clear you can play piano, what do you want me to teach you?

and i'm like wtf, i get 101 on my prac exam and theres nothing you can teach me to make me better :confused: so imma just learn the pieces, take the exam, and see what i get...

The scales are apparently ridiculous in Grade 8.

The pieces last like 6mins each and are like 8 pages...take the piss..

Yeah, it's silly.
Grade 6 are three pages, there's one i did, which was 3 pages of continuous quavers.
It was very fun to play i tell you.

Those 7th are annoying. I did them, then i completely forgot how to do normal ones.
And Contrarys are gay also.

Hmm i have a master plan...take grade 8, take a teaching diploma when i'm 18 next yr...make £20 an hour teaching kids at whatever city i go to uni in...:cool:
