It's getting easier for me to listen to Minus the Bear.

pixiesfanyo 08-13-2007 04:07 PM

Boilermaker 08-13-2007 05:04 PM

It took me a while to get into Minus the Bear, but I really like Planet of Ice and Highly Refined Pirates now.

perriwinkle 08-13-2007 05:07 PM

i found minus the bear very easy to get into

Anxious 08-13-2007 05:08 PM

Ugh they changed my schedule without telling me so i spent an hour walking to and from there. The worst part is they pretended as if the schedule hadn't been changed. I mean I know working at Tacotime is supposed to mean losing your dignity, but this is too far.

http://sordo.freehostia.com/index.php is a pretty cool site for links and shit.

sooo a weird thing happened today. i was looking at the tv guide trying to find something on and on MTVHD they had Gorillaz Live in Harlem on, so i'm like hell yeah i love the Gorillaz and i turn it on. it's Dennis Hopper in the middle of the reading in Fire Coming Out of a Monkey's Head (i think thats the name of the song...). but anyways it was awesome and they continue the album from there by track (maybe they just did Demon Days in full). so they play Don't Get Lost in Heaven, which was awesome because they had this big chorus of black people who actually sounded really great. then they start Demon Days, with a full orchestra and everything. everythings sounding perfect and im thinkin wow, this is an amazing performance. when the drums and everything kick in, a chill runs all over my body. and when the chorus came in again, i actually started getting teary-eyed. i mean i like Demon Days, and i always thought the title track was an awesome closer, but i never really thought it was THAT awesome... so i really don't know why this did it for me when a lot of other stuff that i'd think i like more never comes close to bringing me to tears, but i couldn't help it. i dunno. this was one of the first times music has brought me to tears. like it wasnt much, i had to wipe my eyes though. very weird experience. i just thought id share that. this may or may not prove to have been a good idea.

thats ok. wanna hear something lame? i cried during "an inconvienent truth". the only time i have cried while listening to music was the first time i heard "no surprises" by radiohead.

Boilermaker 08-13-2007 06:13 PM

CatfishJones 08-13-2007 06:25 PM

im not joking at all. it was right about the time the screen went black and there was just stuff to read at the end. something just clicked, i don't know. my dad doesn't beleive in global warming by the way. yes, he's an idiot.

iarescientists 08-13-2007 06:30 PM

Global warming was created by the Jews during World War II

on another note, fauxreal mentioned montreal. i've always wanted to visit canada. maybe when i get older.

pulseczar 08-13-2007 08:17 PM

I've been there. I saw a lot of prostitutes and crack heads. It was nice, though.

to dei

CatfishJones 08-13-2007 08:19 PM

is montreal part of the french speaking canada?

dei 08-13-2007 08:32 PM

Quebec, yes.

I want to know what it's like there. I can see myself moving to Canada, I just don't know where.

CatfishJones 08-13-2007 08:37 PM

when i get older, i plan on road trippin through there. anyplace with cold weather is the shit anyways.

pulseczar 08-13-2007 08:38 PM

Move to Ontario or BC instead. Quebec is kind of European.
