Yeah, lots of people seem to love it. The death metal parts of the album just seem really really bad to me, though. The lyrics too, have no flow. Which is unfortunate, because they can make excellent songs (Mordecai being the prime example, and a few of the others are worth listening to; if you ignore much of the attempted death metal), but overall that just makes it more disappointing that they couldn't do it more consistently.

Check it out, still. Many people (though admittedly not usually big death metal fans) love it, maybe I'm just the oddity here. I wouldn't buy it without checking it out first though, if I was you.

At the very least, check out Mordecai, which is as close to a perfect song as they come on the album (if you can stand non-heavy music too, anyway). The lyrics don't suck, and the sentiment they express is cool, if none too original. The death metal isn't so bad as it is elsewhere, probably because it's not so pure; there's metalcore in there too, I think. And the outro is non-metal, and just amazing.

Its going good for me, I am going to eat lunch with like 10 of my friends tommorrow at a chinese food place heh, will be fun.

And I have always been interested in swords and weapons and such, and I also like them as decorations for my room. Also I plan on taking Kendo and learning how to sword fight and such.

Fair enough. I liked swords and things too, but I've never gotten round to even really thinking about buying any, because I always just buy music instead. Hence all the CDs I've bought recently (the official count now is 31 in 21 days, I think :-/).
