... Hangover.
|
Drunk on a Sunday, you Scot.
|
I'm a rapscallion that's for sure. Poker followed by a work party, ergh.
|
I've never been to a work Christmas party. May be considering it this year for one of jobs if I'm not busy.
|
This wasn't really a Christmas party, just a thing I somehow got roped into.
|
Ah well. It happens.
Stinking hot today. Just had one of those moments when you check out some gear online that you thought you wanted last time you checked it out then realised that you don't anymore. Bummer. |
Tell me about it. No pants for me today!
I think the worst part of the night was one of the guys kept getting his dick out and just walking around the bar. Security fails again! And the sex I had to hear in the next room all night. |
Haha sounds like a shithouse evening.
|
All in all it was pretty lacklustre. And I'm pretty sick anyway so I feel doubly bad now, go life!

Find salvation in Jesus.

the only salvation is that of the god-emperor of man

I dunno what Patrick Stewart has to do with this.

I just made a $1500 tuition payment for a winter class.
Awesome. I don't think I'll be able to afford school this spring. Looks like I'll be getting a second job to start saving for school again. |
Wait, one class cost you $1500?

is that a warhammer quote? LOL |

Yessir. Tuition is ~$500 per credit hour at the local university. |

That's nuts. Our universities here just charge by the course, and whether it's one semester, or full-year. I'm pretty sure $1500 would get you a whole year's class (6ch) instead of just one semester. |

My tuition for four courses this winter is $2100. $1500 is more than my out of province supplement alone. |

:upset: I'm kind of S.O.L. There are two other universities in state (both 2 hours away from me), that are about $100-150/c.h. cheaper, but I can't move away from my job - I wont be able to afford living on my own and tuition on the minimum-wage-only job opportunities that I'll have. I may have enough saved for a down payment for a payment plan for Spring semester, but going on the payment plan means that I have to pay an extra $100. It's absurd. |

Yeah, I think one semester of full-time school at STU was $2400/semester. Which was as many courses as you could take as long as it was more than 3 and less than 7. |

Yay tuition freezes. So, may have done extremely poorly on one of my exams. I was not told which the short story I was supposed to write on, because the exam guidelines said it would be one that my instructor had already assigned. Turns out that didn't mean one of those assigned in the course. She "assigned" the story in the one class I missed, and neglected to mention it when I asked her about the exam later. I'm also boned because I can't appeal based on missing classes. Wheeee. Good thing I dropped the English major, and that I nailed the other two sections of the exam. |
That sucks. That was a dick move on the part of the prof.
|
Good news - I can still afford to take English 102 (online) at the local community college, for only $300. I've been neglecting it for 3 years...probably time for me to take it.
I'll probably still have to opt for the second job, though. |

Yes. Yes it was. Pros: 1. It's over 2. Never have to do it again 3. Will still pass the course |
Jesus' Birthday Party (Become one in a million!)

After recording with my Spector Legend, I realize that I'm not happy with the bridge pickup's tone. I love the P-Bass-like tone that I get from the neck pickup, but the bridge pickup isn't as fat as I'd like it to be.
Can anybody comment on the tone of EMG 45P, EMG 45J or EMG TWs? Specifically, how they compare to p-bass and j-bass tones? |
I got assaulted at work, lame.

You got assaulted at a pet store?
