Fuzzy 03-09-2008 09:39 PM

Regretfully I haven’t much to say
In the way of soulful penitence
The glass leaks when full and empty
As the road’s dust fills my lungs

Really, would you wish on jaded stars?
Who is master of star and moon
Always a fool’s chance, slippery evidence
Hide it away beneath the floor

Perpetual knocking grows steadily stronger
In the splinters betwixt ancient walls
Who of the inhalant’s dusky habitualants
Carries the key high tonight?

Doors will close as others open
A window on borrowed time
That rushing feeling of remembrance
Through innocence

But should this tale find a first person?
Keeper of ink and things made man
Rise to meet the soft caress
Lavender lips locked lustfully

And that softer warmth spreads throughout
The child’s laugh, two minds take flight
Missing, missing, have you found the
Quiet calm in our embrace

I just got tired of jumping ship
Tracing initials in the sand
And judging by the radar blip
The last goodbye is close at hand

Berk 03-09-2008 09:45 PM

summer's here
aint no joke
got nothing to do
gonna drink some coke

summer's here
****ing stoked
gonna catch some air
aint gonna choke

playing ps2
in my basement
mom said leave
I said get bent

got nothing to do
got nothing to eat
but the summers here
and thats all I need

Win A Rabbit 03-09-2008 10:17 PM

chippy: yeah if you make enough money to spend like $20/day on music.

or if you don't check out new bands often.

berk stop stealing my pwn links.

Unless of course stores don't stock lesser-known artists, which is frequently the case.

Or, like WaR said, you don't have money lying around waiting to be spent on overpriced CDs.

Win A Rabbit 03-09-2008 10:49 PM

yeah, like i have nothing against buying cds. it's just that when i go to the record store and buy a cd, the majority of that money goes to all the employees working there, the people who own the shop, the people who shipped the cd to the building, the electricity company that powers the building, etc.

i buy cds from bands directly (or as directly as i can) when i go to shows, and every now and then from their label. and very rarely i'll buy from one of the little independant shops and pay a couple bucks more, because the people there are nice/helpful/knowledgable and actually somewhat deserve to make money off of a band's music.

Chippy569 03-09-2008 10:51 PM

i either buy CD's at Cheapo or at something like amazon.com... but downloading music for free (which wasn't intended to be for free) is for people with sand in their cheapass pussies.

Berk 03-09-2008 10:56 PM

ok im 15 and i love music im just gonna listen to the same album for 5 weeks untill i get some moeny

NOT

Chippy569 03-09-2008 10:57 PM

would you like a shovel? it'll help with all that sand...

tbh i check out a lot more bands and because of that end up buying a lot more music due to downloading for free than i would if i checked out a band's single on their myspace and then judged whether or not to shell out $20 to hear the rest of the cd.

and btw bands make <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< from your amazon.com purchases.

Chippy569 03-09-2008 11:00 PM

that's what youtube's for :)
