That tells me there is no thread specified, and I checked back in the pit, looked around for threads that were made around that time, so I have reason to believe that he permanently deleted it.

It's good. Not as good as mine, but I like it :thumb:

Also, how'd it go with your lady last night?

superpeer 06-12-2005 04:49 PM
watta fag :-/
Actually no, I took that thread number and added 1. But I didn't consider the fact that people had actually posted in it for days. So it's probably not at the same position, I'll look a bit more, perhaps.

He is now the mod Non Sequitur, and mods Politics and Sports in the Pit, I believe.

Rothmans 06-12-2005 04:52 PM

Oh right so he was a mod for guitar and he was horrible on guitar (I know skill has nothing to do with being a mod just a bit funny)

Moses 06-12-2005 04:53 PM

I don't post enough in this thread to be on the reality show. Cool idea though, I'd be the guy that has a name noone can pronounce.

Please do, the story sounds a bit amusing.

Arucard 06-12-2005 04:56 PM

On a ligher not, the band that played before us were all about 40/50 and they were like an instrumental version of rush. The guitarist was just so.... good!

They screw all the time if that's any indication. ;)

superpeer 06-12-2005 04:58 PM

Hah, I found a Bartender thread in the pit, looking through all these old threads, the good old days.

Well, that's not all she likes...they're among her favorite bands, but she likes a lot of different kinds of music (she's pretty big on classic rock, so...yeah). And she's also a sports fan, which is a plus.

lunch998 06-12-2005 05:14 PM

Well, good deal there. Sports and classic rock.

That's actually a decent thread though. The Pit's come a long way down since then, clearly.

Sport and Classic Rock would make me die. Only classic rock bands i like :

Rainbow

Well thats about it...

I know...anyone who knows me knows that those are two things I happen to be very passionate about.
Sport and Classic Rock would make me die
Well, anime/manga and metalcore would make me die. Different strokes for different folks.

lunch998 06-12-2005 05:17 PM

Yea, I wouldn't say I knew you but I did know that about you.

I don't think I'll ever find a girl who likes classic rock and sports. Maybe in college.

Definitely in college. That's where all the honeys worth getting are.

The best ones you should look for are the ones that liked fantasy novels in high school. The pretty ones among them tend to be quite smart, and very agreeable to speak to. And chances are they haven't dated very much yet. I am my girlfriend's first steady boyfriend, but she's amazing looking.

Yeah, one thing I learned from high school and college is that people aren't the caricatures that TV and movies make them out to be.

Moses 06-12-2005 05:23 PM

Me and my girlfriend have almost nothing in common.

Music: She doesn't venture into the music "world", so she listens to mostly radio rock. I tried getting her into Tool but she says it doesn't stick with her.

Sports: She only plays them and doesn't know about them or watch them.

Movies: Our interests are basically the same, we just aren't big movie buffs. Matrix, Star Wars, etc...

She also likes anime. I watch it whenever I happen to, just like anything else but she is addicted to it.

It's weird though because we've been insanely in love with each other for about five months now.

lunch998 06-12-2005 05:23 PM

Almost all the good looking girls at my school are annoying or just stupid. Sometimes I can put up with them, and there's a few that are cool all the time pretty much.

Stupid nerd :p

just kidding...I obviously didn't go for that method because that's not one of my interest is.

Of course, I can see the logic in that. It's just that fantasy novels? Eh...

lunch998 06-12-2005 05:35 PM

I haven't seen an attractive girl here who reads fantasy novels. But obviously each school is different, so if it works go for it.

My girlfriend doesn't listen to much music. She does like reggae, Sublime, RATM, and stuff like that.
She likes classic rock, but she doesn't know the names of the bands.

One night we smoked a joint in her bathtub listening to Floyd :)

Yea, I probably smoke too much ganja. Maryland is so boring, though!
