It's incredible. These drums are insane. Drum machine? Some of it sounds almost too fast.

I think most grind uses a machine, because I have no idea how some could be so fast.

The cymbals in F...ID sound kind of synthetic.

No, drummers who have been doing it for awhile can do it. My band is more crust, but we have one or two grind/PV songs, and he hits those speeds. But that's why songs like that are short: you can't do that for a long time.

P.S: Every band mentioned since I last posted here rule, like Nasum, Spazz, Pig Destroyer, and F[b]u[/b]ck... I'm Dead.

The thing I don't understand about those fast beats, is that it's not a drumroll, it's like single beats, just really really fast.

Yes, [i]very[/i] fast. You have to be good to do it. And have massive arms.

You've been getting into faster then me. But I really enjoy it more now then I did before.

I listened to Agroaphobic Nosebleed today, it was really awesome. Their split with Converge was meh, but Converge was better on the split then on Jane Doe.

THe drummer for my band is hilarious. He's not nearly as fast as most good grind drummers but he is also the scrawniest kid I know and every practice he is faster. It's funny cause he is the only member of the band that truly does not make sense.

Assuck is pretty good as well. :)

The drummer in my band always says blast beats are the easiest to play. We have 1 or 2 grind songs.

I showed some lad in my college today some grind who normally listens to pop music, and he just burst out laughing :upset:

The actual blast beat is easy, it's just like one-two-one-two, but doign it REAL fast and keeping it at the same speed isn't.

I want to get one right now...but alas...I have no money at the moment.

OK OK OK. I like some of the "pioneers" if you will of the grind genre like Siege and Napalm Death (even though I find them funny) but im not too sure what to listen to next. I like the heavier hardcore punk sound of Siege, is their anything along those lines anyone can suggest to me?
