This is true. But I listen to quite a few bands from other countires, where the lyrics are in a language I can't understand.

Probably because Last.fm only records if you listen to a song for at least 30 seconds and if you dont jump around. iTunes records everytime you open the file whether you only listen to 5 seconds, listen to the middle of the song or accidently click it.
