For me, listening to RATM isn't just listening to music. I surrender to it. :thumb:

All my band wants to do now is RATM covers, so I'm listening to them nonstop now. I take pride in knowing almost every RATM song on bass. I can play the first 3 albums and I only don't know 5 tracks off of Renegades. I can play all of their unreleased tracks as well. :thumb:

That's awesome man. I started drumming when I was a huge Rage fan so I usually tried to learn their songs. Now I can play most of them, I think, though I haven't tried in a while.

I'm in Metal_Head_617's band, and we play a lot of RATM songs. We can play Calm Like A Bomb, Testify, Bombtrack, Killing in the Name, and Bulls on Parade.

We are still working on tons more.

Down Rodeo is good, but is Roll Right amazing or what.

Roll Right seemed like a rather mediocre track to me. Most likely because it just followed Wind Below, the best song on the album.

I really like Roll Right. Especially the ending.

Rage are one of my favorite bands, for me there self titled album is the best, tons of classic tracks on it..

That's impressive. Over this past X-mas break, I decided that I would learn the S/T in it's entirety. I stopped at Killing in the Name. :p

I've been thinking a lot recently about this whole cover deal, and I am going to request a change of plans...Can we do Bombtrack instead of KitN? I know Demon Hunter probably won't have any preference, but 617, would you mind?

[B]Here are 2 reasons[/B]
1. From a cover standpoint, I personally could do a better job on Bombtrack because there is lots of room to improv, throughout the entire song. Covers are supposed to be orginal, right? (See Renegades)

2. I like playing Bombtrack more. :D


If you guys would rather do KitN, that's fine, but I'm just saying that Bombtrack would be funner for me. We do have more than a month to get this done, so we could do KitN later on down the road, but I'd prefer to do Bombtrack instead. Gimme some feedback guys.

Hey don't blame me, teachers and my dad always told me there was no such word as 'funner'. Wow, I'm gonna start using that word a lot more often, it looks funner than other words.

I like battle of la the best. there are some kick *** songs on that album that they sadly dont play on the radio.
