***Important***m4a

Does anyone know what I could do with my m4a files I keep getting from people. I know you guys that send them don't mean to jip us but I just want to know a way to change the format or something. If anyone knows what to do with these please tell me. Second, I was wondering what to do with protected content. I got the very best of cream from someone and it wont let me even burn it cause it has protected content. I'm sure a bunch of you guys who do this have run into this problem. What I usually do with m4a's is just delete them, but some of them I want so I was wondering if any of you computer geniuses out their know how to do it.

The albums I have are (wma format and mp3):

The Beatles-Please Please Me, With the Beatles, Beatles for Sale, Help, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The White Album, Let it Be Naked, Abbey Road, Magical Mystery Tour,
Paul McCartnety- All the Best
Lennon- Legend
George Harrison-Brainwashed
The Doors-Legacy (2 Discs)
The Who-The Ultimate Collection (2 discs)
Guns N Roses-Appetite for Destruction
Van Halen-Best of Vol. 1
Lenny Kravitz- Greatest Hits

[QUOTE=PIGS(1 different one)]Anyone wanna trade some albums over AIM or MSN?

I have every Opeth, Old Man's Child Defiance of Existance, a few Sublimes, Satryicon Volcano, a few bodoms, Killswitch the new one, The Mars Volta, In Flames Whoracle, and I am willing to rip some cds, I have over 300 so just ask me what I have.

What I am looking for is some Melodic Death or any good metal.[/QUOTE]
Tell me your MSN contact so I can trade albums with you. But I warn you that I'm only willing to do that with WMA files at 192Kpbs, and I tell you why, it's a lot better sound than MP3, and with MP3 you can only reach the quality of WMA 192kpbs if you rip it at 256kpbs, and even then you can perceive that the sound isn't right.

Another things is, I usually do it this way, and I like it very organized, an album should be ripped with this minimum of information in it:
-Artist
-Album + date
-track number + Track name
That's it, but everything in it's right place... like when you rip a cd it will make a paste with the Artist name, inside it is the album name and date [like this: Master or puppets 86], inside the album is are the tracks [like this: 01-Battery; 02-Master of puppets].
And please, no mistakes in naming all these things, it's very important that all this is correct.

I have a huge collection of albums in WMA, and I usually rip 50 to 60 CD's in a week.
My friends share with me, and it's very important for me that no impure sound get's ripped into my collection, like MP3 converted into Audio and recorded back to CD [that's horrible, because you kill the original sound, and that costed money to the artists] so if your going to do some piracy do it at least by making a copy out from the original, and not by ripping it and converting it again to WAV. Keep those ripped albums where they belong, in the computer, or in you music files player.
I always rip from originals, and when the date is missing or some more information in the booklet, I usually get it from various sources from the intenet and match them so that it's true.

I know this text was a pain in the arse to read, but hey! at least you'll be getting the quality out of me.

I almost forgot something, to rip to WMA you'll only need the WMP 10.

I'll be giving you a list from my collection [just have to export it from Musiccollector, to html or other].

I have the Aina album, with the bonus CD and bonus DVD. If you want it I can give u in MSN. Just tell me your contact, or make one.
