I quite like power metal, owning Valley of the D.amnded by Dragonforce, Evil Warning by Angra and Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed and Unbroken by Hammerfall. I was wondering if there are some bands I should check out if I like them, cause I want more! :p

Helloween - Keeper of the Seven Keys part II

Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middleearth (the lyrics are based around The Lord of the Rings:D :thumb: )

Ahhhh Power Metal good stuff indeed. Its funny just getting home after buying Iced Earth- Night of the Stormrider and Blind Guardian- Night at the Opera that I stumble upon a power metal thread. Awesome

By the way I liked Night at the Opera from the first time I listened to it all the way through. I didnt need any time for it too grow on me.

I need to pick up a Night at The Opera. I've heard good things from Blind Gaudrian fans about it.

Yes, Nightfall is one of my all time favorite albums. I've only heard The Bard's Song off Somewhere Far Beyond, so tell me how it is when you pick it up.
